Happens more often now that the world events have better rewards and there’s more people doing them. What’s worse is that a crash usually follows the loss of proper sound.
It’s fairly obvious that it only happens with a large number of users present and should be easily reproducible considering how common it is. Changing the audio settings still does not help if the area is truly full of players. Tested with multiple integrated and dedicated sound cards. All the same.

My problem is that i dont get this beeep sound etc… but im losing alot of sounds (it seems like sound lags or smtn) in bigger events or even in some dungeons. I have this issue on both my integrated audio and sb recon 3d.

anyone else gets half of the sounds in bigger fights (ascalon fracal for example ) and random dungeons ?

“Been having this really annoying bug/glitch/error, whatever you wanna call it, where all of a sudden while playing, I start hearing this annoying “ooooOOOOOooooOOOOOoooooOOOOOooooooOOOOOO” sound which loops infinitely until I shut down the client.”

Sometimes “Stereo Mix” causes this issue. Do the OPPOSITE of what’s shown in the link below to turn it off:

I haven’t found a permanent solution to the sound bug. Sure you can get rid of the alarm sound. But now you have constantly loud pops and breaks in the sound. Searched through out all of the tech support boards and there is no answer to any of them.

It’s not stereo mix. I have it disabled also. So you’re misleading people with this information.

Just to confirm, this issue still exists.

Turning down the sound quality down to medium has helped somewhat, but I still get the bug, and then subsequent crash every now and again.

And as has been said, occurs during large world events (almost assuredly because of the # of people).

Furthermore; I don’t get paid to attempt to help people here – I volunteer my time. Of course, instead of doing that, I could simply play the game because I don’t have any issues with it.

That would be preferred than to mislead people with information not relevant to the issue at hand.

I have this happen a lot too, and earlier it started causing instantaneous crashes. It always happens to me during a large, multi-person chain event or boss fight event.

I have this exact issue as well. It happens during large chain events and boss battles – but it seems to only happen to me if I am zoomed most or all of the way out from my character.
