I get the error message “The graphics system failed to initialize. Please restart your client” I didn’t have this problem before i upgraded to windows 7. Please help.

Hi what videocard are you using? Have you tried installing the updated drivers for your videocard? Can you attach also your dxdiag?

I found out the problem, turns out when you upgrade to Windows 7 you lose DirectX 9

If you run windows update, it should update your direct X to the most recent also.

I hate using Windows update

you should really run it “at least once” on windows 7 to get the basic bugs out of the system.
