Same here – I wanted to finish levelling my ele (made the mistake of trying to go into sparkfly fen) and now Teq has gobbled him up. I hope they fix this soon.

Same problem here. Seems to be a problem with the Sparkfly Fen Map, because i just tried logging with my Mesmer wich is in the Harathi Hinterlands and it works just fine. <_<
How do i get my ranger out of that bugged map?

the solution to this is simple. your character is stuck on an old map. get a friend to join a new map and invite you into a party. then log on to your bugged character. this should let you join the new map and give you no network error. this helped me to get my engi out of mad kings realm.

Same here, Tequatl can feast on NPC’s today as there will be no zergs of adventurers around to stop it.

I tried prefreset. It worked and got my character out of Mad King’s Labyrinth but then crashed when tried to re-enter. The map completion and achievements reset to 0% but that’s temporary.
Works for some not for all.

Huh. Managed to log in after a while, but my binds were broken, so I relogged and.. can’t log back again. How cute.

Same issue, but I also had the network error message whilst trying to get into the mad king’s labyrinth just now.

Sparkfly fixed itself for me!

yes -_-’ for me it fixed the issue but only one time, i relogged (had binding issues) and now Im not able to come back

Well to update, was able to play for a while but then tried to go to Mount Maelstrom and got the exact same error code.

Is there any way we could get a response so we at least know this is actively being looked into please?

I get this network error whenever I try to enter The Mad King’s Labyrinthe through the doors in Lions Arch. If I play something else, there is no problem at all.

EDIT: Tried another character and it works fine.

I have the same problem with Mount Maelstrom map right now. I was able to enter Sparkfly Fen, but game crashed when I tried to LEAVE the map by the usual portal.

Now my client quits upon logging the character into Mount Maelstrom, giving me the same code.

Mount Maelstrom is also broken cause i got the same error, my main got stuck there:(

its stupid every time i need to teleport to a new world boss event i got same message. EVERY TIME.

We just fixed this for two seperate accounts, maybe coincidence? Have someone on a working map (any, not just the one you are stuck in) to invite you to party on other character…then, while in party, try to log the “stuck” one.

Edit: 5 guildies fixed that way now

Your temporary fix does nothing for people who used a portal to a map that is broken. When I exited Sparkfly Fen to Mount Maelstrom the client logged me out with the error code. Each subsequent login brought me to Sparkfly Fen again, immediately followed by the Mount Maelstrom loading screen, immediately followed by the same error. Getting a friend to Sparkfly Fen did not do anything, and having said friend try to get to a “new” Mount Maelstrom sent HIM into the same error I was having, leaving us both with unaccessable characters.

Luckily, my first character could load into Sparkfly Fen.
Unfortunately, now my second character cannot get out of the Labyrinth to LA… At least I get ported back to Labyrinth, not just get stuck with the error forever.

I’ve had this last night entering either Queensdale or Divinity’s Reach (with a friend, they also had the same error at the same time) and just now trying to enter Lion’s Arch.

I hope this gets resolved soon as it’s extremely frustrating, as I’ll continually have it for some time after… but these things happen.

It’s not the map you are connecting that has problem but more like the server. For example, in straits the server ending in .142 is with problems. A simple fix is guesting on another world, I guest on Elona Reach to get out of straits. It logged me on a different server, ending in .235.

…everytime i join the game the server want put me in an tpvp match, that doesnt exist. When the server automaticly let me join the match (thats doesnt exist) i get the error.

This error just cost me my fractal progress tonight. Almost at the end, about to zone onto the final one and bam…whole group got kicked and when we try enter “the instance you are trying to enter is full”, click that message away, and the instance is lost so we have to start over.

Just got the same error trying to waypoint from LA to Bloodtide Coast. Fortunately, after some failed attempts to get there, the game reset my position to LA.

Thats exactly how it worked for most of our guild – they entered a map, dc/ed and everytime they tried again to relog the character, they get those 2 loading screens followed by that error…and it worked for every single of our members the way he described (none of us stuck anymore on any character – at least none Im aware of)

I’m getting error message when joining the pvp map Legacy of the foefire. Second time today. so frustrated….

It’s happening on all maps, looks like. I was carving pumpkins in Queensdale when I got kicked. Restarting and restricting firewall like it suggests doesn’t seem to help.

I (and some friends) cannot connect to an Instance of Foefire on the IP 206.127.159.140-
Maploadinfo gives “STATE_SERVER_WAIT” when it stops loading. I tried and failed to ping the IP.

I am getting the same at Blazeridge Steppes now

Sparkfly gave me a crash with the same error code yesterday as well. It’s working now, but unfortunately it seems related to more than just Sparkfly Fen. One of my other characters threw this code at me in the Bloody Prince story instance yesterday, and now I repeatedly get it after creating a charr and trying to enter Fury of the Dead.
