We held the parade, it was just small. A lot of TC people got stuck in queues.

I don’t know what TC group we wiped in lord’s room in that tower, on mag BL, tonight but it was a ton of fun. Good fight guys.

Perplexity isn’t that great. The only build I’d argue it’s OP on is Engineer as they don’t actually sacrifice anything out of their regular build to get the huge confusion damage. If it’s a warrior or thief running Perplexity – guess what, they have to use kittenty condition weapons or kittenty physical weapons with their interrupts as opposed to good old pistol/shield for perplex procs – meaning outside of the perplex procs, they’re barely doing any damage. I’ve won several duels against players using perplex thieves (S/P AND p/d variants) who I know are very talented (If you’re reading this, you know who you are) using some simple kittening steps – cool down for a moment, stop spamming skills so that all he has to do for a perplex proc is interrupt at any time, clear your condis, and kill the guy relying on a single gimmick. It’s quite simple.

This is for that special person out there on TC……

I would say it can be “better than intended” on a condi mesmer as well, but tanky condi mesmer is a pretty easy-cheese spec regardless, perplexity or not, so it doesn’t really matter.

Well Mag BL seems to be one of the hotspots tonight. EXS, STUN, Agg, iLL TyE … I can see here … we’ve all had some great encounters

Win some, lose some … and I think Pyro entered here now apparently. Seemed never ending amount of guys in that fight under hills.

Agg though, looks large – I sense a 3 way if this keeps up … better bring protection

When there’s skill lag you can’t reliably get anything else off. Your auto triggers by itself because the server will keep it pumping. Guardian staff is picked as an example because it’s an easy lawn mower.

There are never enough solo roamers. The opposing servers solo roamers are always bad. The enemy servers are always hiding in towers. All the opposing servers ever do is blob. Every enemy is running a cheesey perplexity build. Guild ‘X’ wont fight with anything less than double our numbers. Etc etc etc. Based on WvW matchup threads thats apparently just the way of the world….vs world.

I like just listening to music and rolling solo sometimes. You can find some decent 1/1 and 2/1s. I can scout and pass info to the map. I mean, I also enjoy going out in small groups sometimes. I like open field skirmishes and tower defense as well. Rolling with a big zerg isn’t a play style that appeals to me, but if there’s one in the area about to take something I’ll join in. I know it’s more efficient, but constantly running from here to there on a map in a big ball doesn’t hold my attention for very long.

OCX time is a lot more fun when there’s two giants busy fighting each other. I’m surprised how well our EB keep has held considering the usual lack of organization there.

Congrats to Mags on beating SoS this week. Not gonna be bitter about it.. you guys did really well and earned it :P

Hopefully both of us get more fun fights the following weeks even if it’s against blobs of Tier 1.

People don’t solo roam anymore because solo roaming = fight cheesey gimmick builds or play a cheese build now a days. Might as well play sPvP, its more efficient.

Fair enough. Scouting is fine and needed, so are small groups. I like small groups, or “havoc” groups, as well, particularly when on my Ranger. I was referring to the solo roamers who are just interested in finding 1v1 or 1v2, etc. Thanks for discussing.

It’s Friday and I think we can all agree that we want the three servers in this matchup to do as much damage as possible against their opponent(s) in the following matchup.

Plus, I don’t think it has to be said, but we plan on going after JQ with everything. We can’t control our militia or PvE commanders, but we’re pretty much in agreement that SoS and Maguuma can wait until the season is over to resume heavy hostilities.

In other words, pretty much what we’ve done the latter half of this week in NA.

Its fairy rare on all 3 servers unfortunately. When I solo roam, I tend to run into small groups a lot.

Both guilds are really talented, but neither are big enough to sway the 4-6 rankings. EP+Agg does give SoS a NA presence though.

All it takes is something like those queues to make people who are already annoyed pack up.
With BG winning this first week, it’s been proven that the gap between TC and T1 is only getting larger, so there is a question about why TC exists as the way it is now.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d rather see SoS and Mag grow to meet TC without taking away from TC (preferably as T1 de-stacks); but it will be better for the three of us in the future if we have more even matchups.

Eh, I think you won’t need us to be there from here on out. As long as [KH] stays in Maguuma, SoS will never +695 Oceanic on you again anyways. Nor will any other server, really. =P

Question is when the undedicated achievement farmers go to kessex hills how will WvWers who have changed servers and have taken a break affect the state of the game. this could very well guarantee that T1 will never be displaced, at least for the foreseeable future. which imo is a terrible thing.
