BG hasn’t gained any other guilds besides ZD since monday. As the poster above stated, morale in BG is very high at the moment.
Folks, anyone who plays in NA timezone knows exactly what is happening here. SOR NA guilds are just not showing up whereas BG guilds are playing crazy overtime.
Where is WARD/ACO/RISE/TW/TYSM/GSCH? These guilds have not been out in force for a long time and has considerably weakened SOR NA.
I guess it is true what people say about SOR being a blackhole server
Ward and Aco are ONE, TW and RISE are out in force, TYSM is coming back december, GSCH is a pvx guild.
Oh, and the whole “BG only got one guild” thing, remember what happened when SoR got IRON? Or when Kaineng got WM? Or when JQ got MERC? One guild does make a huge difference, especially in a time zone that has no other guilded forces. There is what? A 2hr overlap when IRON and ZD both play?

there’s no point trying to win against the overstacked server who buys to to queue up 24/7 to win, were just guna enjoy fights in our primetimes. Its a shame that BG dont realise how stacked they are and how bored they must be of the queues.. pity. Pretty much single handily ruined the seasons for all servers

Your boy Smokee claimed post after post last week BG had zero queues for any time zone except late PST. His strategy worked to a tee as guilds like ZD’s immediately transferred over and am sure countless other smaller guilds or individual players did as well to escape the queues.
If you ever read about ZDs transfer, you would know they sent scouts to multiple servers , and they liked the fact we didn’t have late sea/early eu ques, so they transferred to bg. Continue crying about bg getting one guild. SoR isn’t even making an effort, not 1 map of sor is qued.
Wrong, BG “invited” (AKA take my money and unbalance T1) ZDs to xefer to BG. They didn’t send scouts. Whatever i am glad now BG has 1 good open field guild that runs 25+. But in ZDs case 50-60 on prime with 40 warriors/guardians. Wished they played NA prime though

I’m up for putting in 8-10 hour shifts when there’s a chance we can win or there’s a chance we can make you or JQ rage very angrily on the forums. Unfortunately, neither of those things are going to happen because you’re going to win and you’ll be very happy about it.
Stuff like scouting, siegeing, and walking yaks is really lame. I don’t like doing those things and can’t imagine there are very many players that do. People do those activities when they believe doing so will give their server the opportunity to win. But again, we can’t win, so there’s no reason to do those things.
If you want to call me a quitter or fairweather, it really doesn’t bother me. I’d much rather be in my shoes doing something else than being one of your scouts doing 12 hour shifts scouting a tower for an enemy that isn’t there.

I understand the impact one guild can have on a server’s morale (even though the impact is so big on an unrelated weekend time slot so early is unexpected), I remember that clearly when IRON first transferred over.
But my question is since some of your SoR have been claiming that BG got more guilds than ZD which I am completely unaware of, can some SoR provide some clear answer as to what guilds are they, what timezone they play and how big are they etc?
Moving to tier 1 one and a half month ago has reinvigorated my guild’s participation in wvw, i would like to thank you all guilds from both SOR and SOS in sosbl, was the most fun night for EE, hope we can do that again tomorrow.

Smokee hasnt QQd about IRON coming over, the first day on the field that we fought him he was really pleased i managed to find his IGN and he was anything but QQing while we were talking

Something that doesn’t help matters for SoR is they are so spy-paranoid that their trigger-happy, hot-headed and big-mouthed admins perma-ban their pugs from TS for no good reason with no questions asked. After having corresponded with SoR leadership over the past two days, my ban still hasn’t been lifted. I’ve been there for over a month, have been a verified member of their TS for the entire time, have spent countless hours scouting and have communicatd in TS quite frequently. At first I felt at home and thought the community was a welcoming one. What’s funny about it all is I play the most during EU time when the lack of numbers is obvious. I chose SoR because of the fighting spirit and friendly community I heard they had. I was scouting a tower, like I often do, when I was banned. I’m considerably older than the average player in GW2, so it’s quite unpleasant having to plead my case to people half my age. I’m about to be done with that.
Advice to others who are considering moving to a top tier server without being in a well-known guild. Don’t. You’ll be just another name plate in a massive sea of name plates, and like me, you’ll find people won’t generally remember your name or any contributions you make in WvW. However, be labled a spy and you’ll be easily recognized and quickly find that 20 people have added you to their Contacts list. LOL? I wanted to find out what it was like to play in T1. Hindsight’s 20/20. Gaming is supposed to be fun.

I’m calling shenanigans here, are you an octogenarian? My wife is one of the ts verifiers and she’s a grandma. While it’s nice to imagine your opponents are all kids it’s simply untrue. Only a select few people can permaban, and not a one isn’t middle aged.

There are four EU guilds that I know of being offered “incentives” to go to SoR currently. Aside from BuLL, I wouldn’t worry too much

ZD’s will be gone back to SFR by the end of the League when their native home settles down and they can fit back in, SFR did the very same thing as BG which resulted in ZD’s departure in the first place learn from SFR put some control measures in place don’t try and stack time zones or you will find native established guilds will get fed up competing to avoid queues and jump ship.

you should worry about your own server. BG’s old core guilds in all time zones have been carrying us, not ZD. Black gate has the heart of a fighter

BG is putting more numbers on the field for longer periods than SoR right now, plain and simple. BG is on a morale surge. The same exact thing happened to SoR when IRON joined way back when.
