That aside, another interesting day in the fields. Almost managed to sneak into IoJ’s Bay from the north but reinforcements were a bit slow on getting to us to hold the door open. Didn’t realize how many of you lot were in there until the flood of red names swept me aside like a frightened school girl.

LMAO! Let me get this straight, you dropped a blueprint on the ground, and someone from DR took the blueprint, which was on the ground, and you’re calling them a thief? LMAO!

If you dropped it on the ground, it sounds like based on what Anet has put into the game, it’s fair game. If it’s not, then Anet shouldn’t make the blueprints droppable (and you really shouldn’t have dropped it outside of the safe area).

I didn’t realize enemies could see your dropped blueprints, guess you learn something new every day. Anyways, if you’re planning to pass on blueprints to other members of your servers its probably best to do it in the spawn point in that case. And if someone from another server has glitched into your spawn and steals it inside that zone, I would report them.

So why do DR forum warriors feel the need to come to the forums and say our borderland defence is horrible? That they can just rampage through it with ease.
My post about hills was mainly directed at them.

People are constantly posting on here and its clear they only focus on 1 particular time zone and never seem to grasp the fact that the game is 24/7.

Im IoJ by the way (if you look at my signature) im one of a many commanders that prefer to stomp DR over any other server, i get some sort of sick joy out of seeing that bit of green pie nearly gone!

I’ve had that happen before on SM as well. For me, the wall was originally paper, the animation of the dropped occurred, did a loop (fell twice), and then the wall was back. Could not target but damage was occurring again. After 3 minutes of attacks again, we could target and it turned to reinforced. Bad luck of the draw that the upgrade finished exactly when the wall went down. Not sure if this was the same case for you though.

Unless DR gets massive oceanic and EU transfers of at least 50 or so people, we will never survive again above t6/t7. Every one is entitled to their own opinions but there is only so much a 6 hour NA primetime can accomplish, no matter how good it is, there are still 18 hours in the day.

The “charts” in fact show that you get smashed every primetime, despite easily having the numbers to to hold your ground or even continue to lead. No there wasnt even a wall upgrade, the two walls adjacent to the one we took down were paper, where as this one was reinforced. Weird.

DH has low oceanic presence.. wow.. that is a kittening joke. They literally got 90% of their points from their oceanic coverage. It was a daily occourance to wake up to no borderlands or EB after logging off with all of it. And we never faced SF, last time we faced SF was in October. We beat nsp every week, because they had 0 night time coverage. We lost to GoM cause they have a solid NA primetime and a bit less oceanic coverage than DH. And whether you want to admit it or not, your NA primetime has received a significant boost since we last faced you, whether it is transfers, your uplevel zergs finally hitting 80, or increased PvE involvement, you easily put up similar numbers to DR during NA primetime now.

You guys need to take a chill pill and relax like these guys.

LMFAO I guess 20 players is considered big since DR has barely some players around, and if they have 10-15 during that time they are all spread out on all 4 maps.

Our NA still holds you guys up, YES your NA prime are slightly bigger and decently more organized. So complaining and saying the only reason we are winning is ONLY because of our oceanic is wrong. I’ve ninja’d DRs EB keep multiple times during NA, just to prove my point.

I really don’t think you understand what those phases mean because:

There was AT least 50 DR outside that camp spread out from the entrance to the camp to the entrace of bay akittens biggest until you all got tired of dying(as was obvious when all kills stopped giving any form of wxp) and left except for the few that stayed behind in the last few minutes of the fight

Is that why yall didnt manage to flip anything the whole time you had us “locked down”. Hell FC did better then yall and TOOK STONEMIST while yall had everyone there fighting us. Yall couldnt even get a small group to go flip that tower.

Besides DDLG, I think almost all our roaming fighting squads who usually running a 5~7-man group were there.

I can’t say for sure, but I think the messy fights on Sunday night (NA Pacific Time) is a good estimation for our entire NA prime time crew, consisting of core WvW’ers and PuGs, PuGs who saw the orange swords and/or answered the map chat call. And hence, it’s also good to say that now IoJ NA prime time presence was and is not seriously outnumbered by DR. (I doubt if you can correctly estimate enemy group larger than 30 or 25, but let’s just take it.)

To sum up, IoJ have even numbers, if not better, comparing with DR. Even if IoJ are slightly fewer than us, still you have no big problem during NA prime time. (Can FC folks justify this?)

Pfft, I’ll admit that IoJ has more during NA primetime now; fair is fair. We definitely don’t have the outmanned buff nearly as much anymore, if at all. But the fact that you KNOW that we used to have fewer numbers just reflects badly on you since you apparently had no problem talking smack back then about a server you outmanned. Now we’ve got more players to play you on a more even footing and we’re roflstomping you in points, but can you take the loss like man? No. Instead, you kittening whine about night capping. You may want to clarify whether we’re talking potential or overall points here Tuk. Because if it’s overall points, then it’s been Oceanic primetime since reset :p

Gotta say though, DR player individual skills have gone up a lot since our last match up. Made me rethink my builds and fighting tactics a lot lately.

Haven’t seen too many DR zerg’s besieging keeps when I’ve been on (I try and get on during NA primetime to see this) A little disappointing but hey, can’t expect you guys to fight the way I want right Always being sneaky with your keep flips (which is a valid tactic and I applaud your zerg’s discipline when you guys do this)

Really hope to see an all out attack on reset night from both FC and DR.

Yes, DH do have a low oceanic presence, it was the best time for us to hit them, we were able to flip their borderlands/corner in EB most nights. The reason you woke up to a green borderlands is because DH would wake up as soon as oceanics logged off…Oceanics would make your borderlands paper, of course theyd hit yours first.
And you still insist we recieved a boost in NA…I will still deny that.
This is the first time it has been DR vs IoJ, there is no other powerhouse server, IoJ is solely focused on DR, and its now that you guys actually realise how strong as a server we are with out a powerhouse server for you lot to leech/cherry pick off of.

But we were never seriously outnumbered by DR, DR found us as an easy target because we were focussed on the real enemy, y’know, the big server that had the most points? My last screen shot was the most PPT IoJ has seen in months, we were 15 points off of the most PPT, we were all pumped (and sad) that we got so close! It wasnt a bragging ss going all “Ha ha we’re winning” not at all, it was simply a screenshot for the people that werent there at the time to see how close we’d gotten. And the borderland name changes we’re simply in good fun, its the most IoJ colour ive ever seen! I was honestly amazed.

IoJ and DR camp tours should try switching sides once in a while. If I saw IoJ going clockwise I wouldn’t know what to do. lol

Oh, and a great duel with a thief last night just south of Arah’s in our borderlands… we fought each other to a standstill, and it was great fun. Well done!

Oceanic: 1 way fight- IoJ is on, DR+FC are sleeping
NA Prime: 2.5 way fight- FC +DR are on, give the IoJ on a 0.5.
Euro time- not sure what it is here

I think the really laughable thing is with the Oceanics doing all the heavy lifting for IoJ, it is the prime time IoJs who are out there strutting around and claiming it was something they did. I think our gate guards and keep doors are crying uncle to the Oceanics from IoJ. Maybe the critters like squirrels and deer might pitch in tonight and give the Oceanics a better fight. The Oceanics could probably go away from keyboard with just a weapon autoattack and eventually take our keeps in their time slot.

Not to take anything away from you playard, but i have no idea what we’re arguing about anymore. But we were never seriously outnumbered by DR, DR found us as an easy target because we were focussed on the real enemy, y’know, the big server that had the most points? My last screen shot was the most PPT IoJ has seen in months, we were 15 points off of the most PPT, we were all pumped (and sad) that we got so close! It wasnt a bragging ss going all “Ha ha we’re winning” not at all, it was simply a screenshot for the people that werent there at the time to see how close we’d gotten. And the borderland name changes we’re simply in good fun, its the most IoJ colour ive ever seen! I was honestly amazed.

They or we hit you during NA prime time. You have people on (and have enough or more than enough people on) during NA prime time. Our people said that your borderland defense is terrible because of that — you have manpower during NA prime time, but for some reason, you cannot hold those bad kittens. Seriously in all of my post i tried keeping it clean yet DR whines and throws excuses and BS from first pages. Crazy, if DR dominates us SO MUCH during NA prime as you describe it the scores wouldn’t be so far away from each other, how difficult is that to understand? And you calling our Oceanic presence massive? LMFAO I guess 20 players is considered big since DR has barely some players around, and if they have 10-15 during that time they are all spread out on all 4 maps.

Our NA still holds you guys up, YES your NA prime are slightly bigger and decently more organized. So complaining and saying the only reason we are winning is ONLY because of our oceanic is wrong. I’ve ninja’d DRs EB keep multiple times during NA, just to prove my point.

I expected since you are a commander to have a lot more sportsmanship here instead of insulting and throwing excuses right off the bat.

Have yet to complain about you having an oceanic presence, just responding to the incessant “IOJ IS SO GUD GUYS, WE 695 DR EVERY NIGHT, IOJ VS DOORS, IOJ TOO STRONK”. Look at any of our matchup threads against Ebay or Magumma where they had a MASSIVE presence lead over DR, yet they never bragged about the point lead cause they understood the main reason for their significant point lead was their coverage difference. You will not find a single post from any of the main DR forum posters complaining about their said coverage, just like there aren’t any posts in this thread complaining about the coverage. Everyone on DR realizes that the only way will ever win a matchup is if we fight 2 servers with just as little coverage as us and we can beat their primetime. Your NA primetime does get beat, virtually every night, sometimes by 200+ points, which is actually a challenge for DR, when compared to IoJ oceanic door battles. And LL keep has yet to be taken during primetime.

As far as me being a commander, I give people the respect they deserve, both friendly and enemy, and I have yet to meet anyone from IoJ that is deserving of respect, especially on the forums, you included.

Pfft, I’ll admit that IoJ has more during NA primetime now; fair is fair. We definitely don’t have the outmanned buff nearly as much anymore, if at all. But the fact that you KNOW that we used to have fewer numbers just reflects badly on you since you apparently had no problem talking smack back then about a server you outmanned. Now we’ve got more players to play you on a more even footing and we’re roflstomping you in points, but can you take the loss like man? No. Instead, you kittening whine about night capping. What a steaming load of kitten.

But you know what? Keep telling yourselves this matchup doesn’t matter. Or that you don’t care about points (though the amount of debate in this thread over whether this matchup was fair or whether the win means anything suggests you actually care a lot). Whatever helps you preserve your fragile egos.

DR never kitten talked IoJ until well after they continually complained about nonexistent double teaming and DR playing for second, despite DR constantly targeting the #1 server in the matchup week in and week out. During our matchups with DH and EBay, I always told people to stop hitting IoJ when they got the outmanned buff in EB, because even if they were to get wiped off the map, we might hold those points for 1 tick before the #1 server came and zerged them and our side of EB.

And I really don’t understand why it is so hard to grasp the concept of people who don’t care about points. My posts in this thread have nothing to with my care or lack there of for points, it is only responding to those from IoJ who feel the need to flex their door fighting abilities.

So let’s see the monday/tuesday night’s (10pm-2am EST) when we ran into you guy’s in the open field and demoilished you then proceeded to take your bay and various towers on your own BL… Or what about last night as we had the lower corner in your map with maybe 20 people spread out as your 15+ attacked our 3 people at briar? (I quite enjoyed dipping and dodging you guy’s outside the tower and dowing the Charr’s and Ele’s that would in a vain attempt to stretch out the 3 ppl that were there keep falling back toward’s water at champ’s and still let there great support guy’s get stomped right infront of them as they chased a guardian all around lol). Did you guys get that feeling of pride when after 15 or 20 minutes of this you actually got me locked down and were able to secure the kill? I found it incredibly entertaining, I keep hearing people on DR say there “Superior” PvP/WvW’rs yet even in your little 5-15 man group’s you show the talent of a blind man boxing. Oh i know let’s talk about how Me/Counter/Demerz owned 8-10 of you at your lake (you remember guy’s it was mostly the famed [DDLG] u guy’s chased us thru the water to lake, we decided to make a stand and the 3 ppl that lived abandoned the rest and then doubled back to die anyway…). Last night DDLG guild missions started at 8pm EST and went to around 9:30pm, so if something happened then, I missed it (but I got 5 commendations, yay). I was in WvW briefly until around 10pm. Our stuff got capped while we were on guild missions. Bluevalle took SW back, then NW camp, then feinted N Bay, and was feinting NW Bay, and IoJ ran up on us while we were in arrowcart fire and guards. We pushed off of NE and were killing you when Blue called regroup as some were too deep in the guards to disengage. 4 of you IoJ types spiked me on the lake shore. So sorry, did not see that much open field tactics out of you guys there. Dogpiling on arrowcart fields and guards or fighting close to respawn isn’t much. Hopefully we will get a chance to hit you in the open tonight.

If you read my post i stated it was 3 of us at briar last night (pug’s i was solo from whoever was doing w/e they were doing last night, farming mats for my incinerator most of my night), but Mon/Tues was mostly DDLG fights (you kept attempting to string us out in the north, while i will agree your tactic’s those night were much better, yah still lost atleast the time i was there, and im referencing when we decide to pile our guild into WvW as a co-hesive unit.). Anyway’s back to work, good fight’s to all the poster’s who have respect.
