I think its safe to say all of underworld and many other servers can agree on the fact we all like good fights. last night at bay was certainly one of them and your fellow server people i see enjoyed themselves as well as a result that makes me happy so your 1 dispute wont change how i feel about last nights fight.

Dude, you were attacking, we were defending. This means that your server should be the ones charging towards us, but instead you guys waited at your trebs with your arrow carts for us to come to you? Also I have a screenshot of one fight where you had the wall, and the gate down, you guys stood outside of the gate and built 4/5 superior arrow carts, to attack a lords room? You’re now coming onto the forum and complaining that we used arrow carts to defend our keep against a zerg that outnumbered us? Oh and btw we didn’t have 8-10 ac’s up we had about two, at some fights only one, we couldn’t build it because your precious trebs kept on destroying them.
Well done, you found out why we built the trebs, to destroy your ACs! Also we sent one thief in to die and check how many ACs you had up, and he counted 8, so please stop talking crap. If you paid any attention to anything i said you’d have realised i’m not complaining about you defending your keep, and if you knew any history about my guild you’d know i couldn’t care less for points and we’re going to destroy you this week anyway, i’m simply saying having 8 (yes you did have eight) ACs pointing at one chokepoint and wondering why we’re not running in constantly is just stupid, so you decide to emote spam, classy.
I’m not even on any of these servers anymore, so from now on it’d be appreciated if you could stop venting yourself to me and do it ingame, that way your score might start looking better, thanks.
Disappointed in UW today I have been on their BL for a lot of the afternoon and can’t count the number of spam emotes / jumping when it was x vs 1. While it doesn’t bother me so much as I consider it more of a reflection of a bad player it does show a lack of sportsmanship in a server I respect due to the frequency. Try to keep it to a minimum if you can. ^^
Still looking for those good fights though win or lose had one good one vs a guard that lasted quite awhile.

Anyhows, it was fun to jump to you after I made changes to my build. I have to say, didnt go as planned, but atleast that fight made me rethink some choises and I think I went better. But the emotes I saw after you got killed around our north camps, while I was there, were mostly for honor as you were quite a hard thing to bite.
And don’t solo flip the north camps, its annoying to get them back when we are busy in south watching your server mates doing emotes :P

PunK was on UW BL tonight and had a great time, plenty of open field battles yeh u get ur times when ppl siege behind walls but i’d have to say atleast 75% of the time while we was on UW BL tonight was all open field battle and plenty off pushes no matter the numbers

where as most others i come across seem to enjoy it alot, im seeing there is alot of different stuff to do in this match up. If ur into the pug zerg thing or “siege wars” pop to EB, if your up for some open field battles or more guild groups, then your BL seems to be a happening place for that this week. If you wanna avoid most of the above and flip camps or roam then find a quieter BL. Im really not sure what more your looking for in a match up. I think its great and even when I get wiped I still got a smile on my face lol

Had great fun tonight. I have seen some engaging open field combat in the early evening, trolled UW and AS inside AS keep with a couple of Lootbag-machines (formerly known as ACs) on top of the Lords Room as AS was fighting with UW, joined a good old fashioned golem-march with lion and lost bay to AS despite all the nice defensive trebs. Finally, to top it all off I had a 2 hour duelling session against two SWD thieves. Thanks guys for all the duels you gave me both on necro and guardian and the nice banter and chit-chat about builds. It’s good to at least have some duels when a GvG does not seem in sight.
On a side note, if you happend to have been burried underneath a balli-buildsite tonight don’t rage too much. I simply had too many of the darn things and I only get to place them very occasionally. So out of boredom, I decided to give you some tomb-stones. I hope there are no hard feelings.

Much love for my server. 50% of the usual WvW pugs are really cof p1 farmers who gtfo at the first sight of an enemy server, now we have trouble holding more than 2 keeps. Sacrificed home Bay to get inches away from capping your T3 Hills, you were 1 timer too quick to wp in tho, well played.
I just hope someone waked up in EB to take something back. Matchup was pretty even on weekend, but we all know FSP is slow to wake up and we’ll probably keep getting roflstomped to Friday now.
Yeah it’s a problem what FSP has more players early morning and afternoon… until evening – it seems. And UW seems more are working until evening and not able to play and even at the evening the queue at EB seems short(if there is a queue)… the last time it was that short(or often no queue) was few weeks back against Augury Rock.
Seems really like a lot of players don’t like to go WvW if there is a real enemy(or they all don’t like that we are red and only go there for map completion and need stuff near the other colors lol).
Of course then also boring then for the other players. I’m bored by all these tower and camp attacking stuff – even with the zerg…. getting old fast. Keep fights are more interesting… but if we don’t have enough to go for the enemy keep and FSP takes our keep only at morning(or by fast golem rush like yesterday where you can’t even react… and not enough online at afternoon)… then it is boring.
Can only hope for some more lagging fights at SM if any commaner is trying again(not often tried cause of the lag and everyone afraid we are losing all other stuff if we only go to SM).

Your bay fell yesterday to 6 rams by kalevala. Not to a golem rush. There were people defending it at lord but not organised enough. After that your BL got ransacked pretty badly. —just to correct your misunderstanding.
We decided to go to your BL for the very reason that you were pushing ours. Did this Just to avoid the back and forth lagfest with siege around immortal lord room where you can port 600 supplies in every 3 minutes with 30s window.
Fair enough managed to get some open field fights afterwards but they were pretty one sided. Good defense when you got the WPs but need more work in anticipating enemy moves beforehand if you want to defend without them. All in all UW you have become a better server than I remember.
PS. I forfeited PUG commanding and only work to strengthen Kalevala’s guild play nowadays.

We had same last week when we honest to god was doing serious PvD with 0 resistance, that week we had maybe 1-2 good fights that ended cause our blobb showed up =) So i know how ya feel

I did not talk about bay. Usually I don’t play BL. I meant our keep at EB… there were golems yesterday… and not only 2-3 more like 6-8. And I think we even were outmanned. Even without golems we probably would not have been able to defend. Like at least 3 times more people that attacked.
Anticipating… the problem is that not enough people to stuff like scouting(it is boring… I only know from the same few people that do it and always report enemy movement). Also often at our server a lot of people at EB(I mainly play at EB) try to “roam” and stuff… going for camps somewhere to cap them for few minutes… then we even have queue and only max 30-40 people at commander lol.
Sometimes when we got bigger zerg and a good and fun commander then it is fun. SM was fun… few days ago but too laggy(but good loot bags from those big fights – better than some karma train – also the player kills give some WXP).
Edit: Also I like this thread and matchup still better than other matchup and forums thead against RoS. ;-) And Arborstone still strong… usually the french often take keeps and SM at EB of the stronger server ha ha. I still remember from fight against Augury Rock that pwned us and the other french server(I think Fort Ranik it was) when other french server managed to take SM from them(but was not for long).

Ugh. Nothing personal, to each their own, etc. but I can’t believe you actually enjoy that. Living in a country with crappy internet I have enough lag by default, I don’t need 3-way fights in SM making it so I have to press skills 5 times before they go off.
If at any point you decide that fights where individual and group skill are more worthwhile than those where you rely on outnumbering the enemy and spamming 1, you should really check out the borders. They can be a lot of fun. And we get plenty of loot bags.
Yeh Golems usually a reset night tactic or spur of the moment tactic on EB, If EB is where you play then you should expect it a few times from all servers throughout the week.
Maybe im wrong but usually only times u see it on BL’s is either on reset night or desperate measures, like trying to retake your keeps/towers back faster, or when you’ve struggled with most of the other options, not normally used for normal play on a BL’s in my opinion, though like i said i could be wrong, just how I see it.

The 2nd part was me pretty drunk I only remember 50% of that night xD. Mostly I prefer EB because battles are closer and any other bl can be lots of running if your wp’s are denied. Myself I am in a guild with just friends and I am mostly the only one doing WvW so my options are limited to solo roam a bit or mostly just follow a zerg or small group if I can find one.

Well, Me and a guildie from UW upgraded Hills in Arborstone last night after capture and even got a waypoint on it. Eventually got attacked 2 (of us) v 15 AS at about 6.30am this morning.
I wish AS would show me how to place this one, normal Arrow Cart that was able to brilliantly destroy our 4 Ac, 2 mortars and 1 balista so quicky… Not to mention how it was able to get the merchants inside the inner on the same side as the ac was placed!
(it was placed at the front edge of the round tower at inner).
What excellent marksmanship from [HK] guild and friends! I was SO impressed i just HAD to screenshot the whole thing!

Well it was a bit stressfull, our home border numbers were at UW border capping your bay, when we heard that you guys were at our Hills bashing inner wall was at 50%. I decided to cap your bay qucikly and return to our border just in time to save it.
Well first we had to get our numbers in, but the wall was alreaday at 10% so we decided to let you guys break the inner wall and kill you at the choke point with some superior arrow carts.
It happend and we saved our lovely hills
Better luck next time, but i have to give you credits for the nicely performed sneak attack.

The AC player ‘killing merchants’ indeed isn’t very useful in a seige. The point of that shot was that it showed clearly that the ac was reaching places it definitely should not have been able to reach. This was what I wanted to prove as it prevented us from building more seige to repel your attack (or delay the inevitable for extra points or reinforcements) and it also destroyed our acs set back from the front of the wall on our inside edge prematurely.
(i don’t mean the acs and balista that were on the steps, you can legitimately reach those through the gap at the top of the gate, that is fair enough).
I didn’t want to qq, just to bring this to your attention as we have been having great fun and fights with your server and want that legitimate side to continue.
If you say it is being dealt with, then that is good enough for me. I hope not to see him in this position again…

I knew it was a bad mistake making a Norn too dam big and clumsy, Like a Bull in a china shop. If I see a red group infront of me (please take no offence) but I get this uncontrollable urge to switch to Hammer to see If I can launch a few of them back to their waypoint. Sometime my urge gets the better of me and the group is too big and I get launched back to mine.
