Have to say this week has been a nice change from the last few. Win or lose, if it’s an even match-up and the other servers are more focused on fun/competition instead of trolling/chest thumping, then it’s been a good week.

So, cheers GoM & SF. I have nothing but good impressions of you both so far.

Side note: the moderation is actually kinda surprising, I read some of the ones that got deleted and they were mild compared to what I’ve seen lately.

with all this stupidity and BS flying around not only the server but this forum it has me extremely close to quiting and finding a game with some adults that play it. Sad what GOM has turned in to as of late. the gifs alone make me not even want to come to the forums. sigh maybe am just getting grumpy in my old age.

Gate goes down and DOSE OMEGAS. Looking forward to a fun night… we know those are still out and about somewhere on EB.

I wouldn’t be too concerned, our local golem scientist just logged on and is still trying to figure out if golems hit the ground harder than a human body from top floor of SM.

I cant speak for anyone else, But I started WvW when IoJ went from Tier 1/2 down to Tier 6 in the free fall. So im use to seeing +10 PPT. The last few months have been amazing to not see that imo, and we only get better so no hard feelings from me at least :P Also I wasnt with them when they took your corner. I was up in SF upgrading the kitten outta it and trying to deal with the 2 or 3 roaming teams you guys had flipping camps on me :l

Fun duels all those that dueled put a great fight, I was defeated by Fellblade. It was a really great fight around 10min with close calls on both sides! Btw i am always looking for duels from anyone so if u see me roaming on my own give me a /surprised and ill duel u Keep an eye out for that THCC warrior charr.

Good fights with Dreadmode last night. I was busy doing some uni work when my guildy messaged me saying that there was a super OP warrior from SF who hadn’t died to any of the people he’d dueled yet. Pshh, why would I do uni stuff when I could be having fun, anyway? Challenge accepted!

Dread and I go way back, too, and when I received the whisper from him I instantly said to myself, ‘Oh crap, I remember you.’

Hehe, very close calls, and lots of fun.

Yes, I do too keep track on whats going on over on NSP. I want to match up again soon, sadly my game time is very limited lately and wont be able to play vs your night crew. Unless ofc you go full potato all day ;P

We are hosting a 3v3 tournament this Saturday and Sunday (August 17-18) which is open to all participants. It is a 3v3 deathmatch-style bracket tournament in a spvp custom arena. It is hosted during NA prime time but open to all.

Prizes are as follows:
1st: 45 gold
2nd: 30 gold
3rd: 15 gold

The event will be streamed on twitch with giveaways for the viewers. There will participants from all servers so don’t miss your chance to prove your guild/team is the best in guild wars 2! We will also have a consolation bracket so if you get knocked out early you still have a chance to battle your way back in.

Update 1: Many GoM that have found me in griffon form have been kind so far. It has been 2 days since i’ve made my nest north of goms keep and in the ruins.

Update 2: Three very unkind and cruel GoM have located my nest and attacked me, I will return to my nest and perch that watches over the GoM keep so I can meet my GoM friends again.

big salute to the IoJ at Mendon’s a few hours ago. that was a crazy fight.

about kitten were in the process of capping Mendons when about 10-15 IoJ poured on through the busted open gate. I had just enough time to say ‘uh..inc’ and lay down a ward but a warrior made it through. He was about 5 feet from the cap circle when it capped. Most of the IoJ rushed in to kill the SF still on the point but in their haste forgot about RI. So most of both IoJ and SF in the tower died.

this left us with a weird bridge stalemate between the handful of IoJ still in Mendons, IoJ outside pounding on the door, and whatever SF could make it inside.

eventually the IoJ went down but it was fun while it lasted

Had LOADS of fun today roaming on my thief at Gom BL and EB. Heck, especially EB XD. Never through getting in the middle of 2 zergs and popping squishies and running for my life would be so fun hehe, managed to pull really decent duelers too, among the few that manage to got me i believe it was a [RUN] confusion engi, bowing after I lost. That alone makes me have huge respect for you guys.

Ofc there were the /laugh spammers after 1v4+’ing me but thats pretty common.
