why would you go and spin something like this? sure we may not all have been perfect and loving to one another (yuck, amirite?) since forever, but at moments like these, can you not learn to at least try to take things in stride? he wasn’t even being snark. to me, he was being genuinely respectful. a simple, “thank you”, would have made your post much more meaningful.

yes, of course, the rivalry between the two servers have been of love and hate, so there will always be “fighting words” exchanged, though, it can’t hurt thinking that it was genuine, no?

at least for me, you guys are tough as nuts. and fun to play against. i know many peope express that they dislike being paried up against one another, or “oh, surprise surprise” and worse.. but there are those of us that feel otherwise. big time.

So much tension going on in this thread i cannot keep up with all the posts and the history behind it.

I suppose it could be worse you could be say in an EU server matchup thread with one international server vs two national servers that all don’t speak the same language then your just iether talking to yourself most often than not or things are miss-interpretated through translations and upsetting people unintentionaly lol

I will not pretend to understand what BG was like and what it is now but i will give you credit from what i have seen personally you guys have still got considerable numbers despite all the doomsayers. Leagues have been postponed for a few weeks and there ain’t much at the moment worth the fight over PTT tbh so it’s natural some guilds and servers are hanging back and consolidating themselves.

First of all, its Beatrix, not Beatrice. Second, since you and alot IRON’s members have been so hell-bent on pushing this in-correct point – let me enlighten you as to what really happened. Apologizes to three people about this, I hoped not to never need to talk about this here, but clearly due to the ignorance of some people continuing to be-smirch my name and my Guilds name with in-correct information – it cannot be helped. Let me first point out:

Since most people know, I don’t have an issue discussing the following points here. Coin and IRON used to have a close working relationship back on Desolation and had alot of intra guild friendships. Myself, Wrex, Offski and Seth would often discuss all things guild related between all of us. Both guilds worked really well together and would often hold the map on own their own throughout the week even during prime-time. When the famous AC patch hit, both guilds took a 1-2 week hiatus from the game whilst waiting for the clearly broken AC mechanic to be fixed. During this time, I fell seriously ill and lost contact with everyone on both sides – it took me a month to ‘recover’ and I was still recovering when I came back after this point. Coin members had gone off to do different things, as I would expect them to do. I also didn’t know how to approach them, I mean how do you approach someone after that time who respected you and say – ‘oh hi guys and back – btw I was really Ill.’

Not knowing how to fully approach the situation, I approached Wrex because she had given me so much help in the past (which I will always be grateful for, regardless of current circumstances). I explained what had happened to me, and I was curious about what NA was really like and asked her if I could sit in IRON for a bit whilst I explore NA and sort my stuff out. Within a week I picked up commanding and brought recruitment up within the guild. The commanding part was especially important because there was only Wrex at the time who was doing it due to holidays, so we ended up sharing the load throughout two weeks. By the end of the two weeks both myself and Wrex were exhausted – I am aware that we are used to pulling long hours, but Wrex hadn’t had a break and prior to this I was ill (and was still ill) as previously mentioned.

Throughout this time, I got to see the good and bad points about the guild (every guild has them), but for me the bad points ended up being the winner. Whilst I really liked most of the members and the jokes, it became clear that if you were liked more, you could get away with more. For me, I have always demanded the same standard of everyone regardless of who they are – double standards are not my thing. Whilst Wrex works really hard for her guild (I really do know how hard you work on it), leadership wouldn’t properly communicate with each other or decisions would be made about something out of the blue. Lower down there were also too many chiefs in general doing one job, which just causes chaos. Whilst some people are happy with this kinda thing, I’m someone who likes to really think out all aspects of the point before moving into something and have a clear defined structure with roles in place. Finally, myself and Seth had always had an interesting friendship and I felt as if our ‘working’ relationship was unstable at best and I knew we would end up clashing alot and it wouldn’t have been healthy for me or the guild in general. I was also missing Coin at this point, alot.

With all of these points in mind, the fact that I had been seriously ill and was exhausted when I was told to rest. I told Wrex that I was quitting the game and left the Guild. My IRL friends had seen the negative effect and had pushed me to do this. Tbh at this point, I didn’t really want to explain any of the points above for lots of reasons – I knew myself and Wrex were exhausted and didn’t want to put further pressure on her with these points. I know that Wrex, Offski and Seth work hard for their guild (as alot of GM’s do) and didn’t want to say these comments before leaving for obvious reasons. Wrex and Offski had done alot of me on Desolation and vice/versa further down the road, so Didn’t want to break our friendship. Finally, with the IRL push, it just came down to being the best option. Upon reflection, I should have explained it more thoroughly to Wrex or Offski, but tbh with everything that was going on, it was simple too hard to do.

After taking a break on a casual level within the Game, I decided that it was time to re-form Coin and my old team since I had missed them alot and knew that was the place that was best for me.

I want to make it clear that I am not bashing IRON here or any of its members. This is my explanation of what happened so this BS can stop. IRON is great at what they do, but so is Coin. Play the game and stop this pointless kitten on the forums which we are ALL guilty of. Any more personal insults will be reported. I will not be responding to this thread further or any jib made around this topic. Also, these negative discussions on the forum can easily pull people in to do the same. It was never COIN’s intention to do so and wont from this point on. I hope this post clears things up for those that felt the need for clarification. If not, please save your breath. I hope we can start with a clean slate with the reset and enjoy the game.

Well SoR and BG were having all the fun up at garri, we got bay and wanted to dump the golems on hills. No expectation we’d finish hills.

Just didn’t want them to poof without adequate golem melting.

To both of you- that was just one guild who happens to enjoy fighting the karma trains on Fridays. Blackgate as a server had their own karma trains going just like you. Open your eyes and you won’t have to come here and pointlessly rage.
