after getting to play against sor+bg on reset i can say this is probably the funniest thing i have ever seen in gw2

claiming that t1na runs all ptv is wrong. there is no way they can run any kind of gear that has power even as minor stat.

I love the stigma against tanky players. WvW is about a team and our meta is made around AOE’s. Yes you get hit for 300 and laugh, but im hitting 5 people for 300 every second for 6 seconds. that’s 9k damage in 6 seconds.

Also stop disapproving T1 builds when you are tied with sos in last place.

I hit 5 people for 1500 every second. That’s 45000 damage in 6 seconds. I also have 3200 armor.

I will gladly help any T1 players with build optimizations, because they really really really need it.

Sweet tagless commander BG in EBG! Sweet T1 tactics losing your section.

It wasn’t a tagless Commander. BG’s EB militia had no commander.

KnT had run EB since reset, and when I logged (I’m guessing an hour before your post?) my replacement was in queue. Unfortunately, no-one on map was able/willing to tag up. At that stage Durios had been turned to paper but we were holding Bravost and QL (just).

We’d been double-teamed for 2 hours or so when I logged. This is not a complaint, it was smart play by both sides. We were effectively supply starved us and often hit simultaneously on our north and southwest flanks. This is actually “strategy”, not “tactics”.

The upside is that you’re never bored and there were some excellent fights as we bounced around from one side to another. I got some decent FRAPS of these engagements, showing our actual “tactics”, which I may get around to putting up.

SoR was driving this with a sizable force and Mag were sucker-fishing intelligently off it. The best I saw from Mag was KH (?), even with their relatively small group, they clearly need to be treated with caution.

I’ve put together the FRAPS. It was a strange session, with BG doing well overall on PPT while, at the same time, the feeling on EB was one of constant pressure.

Unfortunately, it focuses on SoR – my FRAPs footage of Mag was limited. The encounters were, however, much like the second one on the video: small Mag numbers who were trying to ninja Durios or had already taken Umber.

While I could get scouts, I couldn’t find a small group(s) willing to protect our camps and Dolys. <shrug> Perhaps because the action was constant and we were fairly successful. Regardless, as the result of SoR and Mag’s smart play we were effectively supply starved and mostly reactive to their pushes.

As Shunt has (kind of) pointed out, we were tactically successful but beaten strategically. I understand SoR got a WP on SMC and held it for about 18 hours?

Even before they showed up, 1 RIOT, 1 TB, at least 4 GoF, 1 tagless guy plus your opp guys hugging a tower portal, using siege, and waypoint rushing.

fighting 6v7 is easily winnable if you’re not bad.

edit: sorry , theres 4 aon, one is a mesmer with a duelist out and 2 clones. rofl so you infact outnumbered mag, but still won’t go out of siege range to fight them. what a joke

That’s funny. As this was taking place, I was fighting an oPP s/d thief. There was an add, but he backed off pretty quickly after I kited a bit and I downed the thief. He got rezzed and then proceeded to do his best to run me down with multiples repeatedly. Luckily for me, this was one of those rare times where there were other Mags around me, and I got the stomp I was cheated out of before.

That add was me good sir. I didn’t add so you guys could one on one, Poli had mentioned you were a pretty chill dude. Yes you did drop him but just couldn’t let you stomp a guildy so I rezzed him up. As to him chasing after, well, sometimes it takes a few times getting stomped to learn lol.

Because your “roamers” are tower hugging that siege so it lets us laugh at them more? Do you guys not understand this is why you get /laugh’ed when you get 5v1’ed? Sitting on that siege is why in the unlikely event that you finally do agree to a 1v1, when some of us roam by we’re not making any promises.

Don’t let them try and troll you.I have been fighting them for months and its always the same thing from them.If you want a good laugh watch their stream and hear them brag about how good they are,when they kill a up level in a 3v1.

They think they are a good BG guild like Riot is,but they fall short of it.
