I’m rly not so often read forum and this already can be an old theme.
But, I think making WvW rank shared on account will be much more better, we can make a lot better teams to fight enemies!

Yes, it is indeed a very old topic. People have asked for this countless times, and each time the answer from Anet has been no.

They think WvW xp should be some kind of progression for each individual character, not for the account as a whole.

Every single player probably disagrees with them on that, but there’s not really much we can do about it if that’s what they think.

I’m actually fine with it being character base. If they were to change it to acount bound it wouldn’t bother me but I like it better the way it is.

Naw, that’s not it. ANet subscribes to the old MMO concept of wasting people’s time will keep them interested in the game.

As the game is now, they can nerf a particular profession to make it undesirable in WvW and low and behold players start a fresh WvW rank grind with a new profession. If they made it account bound, there would be no rank grind to keep you interested.

It’s flawed logic, but game makers continue to hang onto it as if their lives depended on it.

Example:

If i have rank 500 with my guardian,??why should i enter to WvW with a ranger ??

Now, 90% playerbase of WvW are Necros,Guardians or Warrior , they will NEVER change to another toon because the rank is bound to one character, so, in the end ,this system is a BIG FAIL.

For the love of this game don’t reset every persons level down like you did with FoTM!

I will be glad for reset of wxp points. You should be able to very quickly set your abilities again.

Thank goodness…I just switched my WvW main from Ranger to Thief, so this helps greatly. Soon my thief shall have all that my Ranger has and more. Maxed out Arrow Cart Mastery, here I come.

Make sure to change the level 1-5 wxp boosters to accountbound after the update.

The game must really be suffering if they are finally giving in on this. Good change though.
