1. yeah, they don’t usually suspend people for first time offenses. The are exceptions for completely egregious names and … well, I could see this one as being one of those exceptions.
2. In your support ticket, did you ask them to also change your account name and give them an alternative? I’d recommend that.

It’s possible by the way that they suspended your account due to the account name, not the character name, in order to rename the account.

Thank you for this advice and feedback. I did request to change the account name, but am unsure what you mean by an alternative. Can you please explain this to me?

I named my character after the historical figure Adolph kitten when I first made an account unaware it was against the rules (Which I should have looked at more than I did). This blunder resulted in a permaban withing the first few hours of gameplay. I contacted support and waited about 24 hours for an unban and now I am concerned. I already bought the expansion and never got a chance to use it. I assume this is a bug of some form due to it being the first offense (and a rather small one). I hope to, if unbanned, change my account and character name as soon as possible.
