Outfitter? You mean the NPCs selling PVP weapons/armor? If so, did you check just south of the home-point spawn location on Red BL – they were the last time I saw them (this was on Sanctum of Rall’s borderlands a few weeks ago).
I do wish banks were more accessible in WvW, but those are one of the few useful perks from upgrading personnel at a Keep. That said, IIRC, the banks were removed because people were queuing up for WvW just to access their bank, causing longer queue times.
That’s also what was the impetus for removing the crafting stations. The more time people spend in the maps not playing WvW, the longer the queues are.
You do realize there are players just standing afk autocasting heal right?
That doesn’t even work either.
I’ve seen this one guy standing in the corner of the invulnerable ledge by Lowlands drop-off auto attacking a Firefly. The only way to interrupt that is to kill the firefly he’s on, but then he’d just get on another one shortly after.
Ignoring this kind of stuff makes ANet seem clueless and helpless.
SoS seems to be full of weekend warriors now. to be honest i’m pretty sure they used to get really great starts and then lose by the end of the week.

JQ has 7 match wins since week 40 (Oct 6 – Oct 13). The server with the most match wins over that same time frame has double that (14 wins), including a string of 11 wins in a row. So …. bored? Okay.

Jade Quarry achieved something today. To the Commanders leading us and the soldiers sacrificing their lives to make it happen… it doesn’t make it any less of an achievement. We’re not bragging, or showing off… we’re patting one another on the back… because this was a team effort.. and there is no I in team.

It’s a feat when you have one server laying down and the other having mass transfers to BG? Exaggerate much?
At some point I imagine ANet will merge servers and remove an entire tier. When, who knows. But it’s inevitable.
Looks like Blackgate has absorbed multiple big SoS guilds. GW2 has this bizarre ‘passed around foster child’ thing going on where people just migrate from server to server, and the landscape changes, free or paid. I suppose that could be good, but it’s also terribly frustrating to the small fish whose fates are decided by the big fish.
Enjoy your time at the top of the hill JQ, it’ll come to an end sooner than you think.

Any chance we can get an update of this information? I’d be interested to see what the queue times look like since transfers have closed.

to make this week exciting maybe you have to guess by how much will they stomp the other two servers. 100k? 150k?
Is that points or numbers of transfers received?
This is the most pathetic case of overcompensation I’ve ever seen in the gaming world.
WvW right now is 100% about coverage. If everyone had equal coverage, skill would actually matter. JQ is going to win this week (and more than likely every week until people are bored with steamrolling) due to their influx of SEA/EU transfers.
It seems that somewhere along the line you folks in JQ became so fixated on being #1, that you’ve forgotten most of the fun in WvW is a good balanced fight.
I’m from JQ and I’m a bit embarrassed by some of the posts here. While we’ve definitely improved, and I’m proud of our server, it’s stupid to dismiss that this all happened during a major holiday. I’m looking forward to seeing what we do when everyone is at full capacity next week.

If there were forums during the Revolutionary War, this is what the British would have sounded like when raging about Americans using guerrilla tactics and not facing them the ‘honorable’ way on an open field. War is dirty, and until this is fixed, expect it. Absolutely nothing wrong with it.
Keep feeding the trolls by justifying it with your “rage-quitting” and “coward” posts, though. If anything, I have satisfied smug smile on my face when I do it. Every single time.
It’s extremely satisfying when you’ve made a gang of people chase you across a map and know that you’ve denied them anything to show for their troubles. Even tastier when it helps your teammates flip a supply camp that otherwise would have been defended.
It’s extremely satisfying if you’ve run back over and over and over and over from spawn to whittle away at all their shiny siege without giving them any badges to buy more or having to pay a dime on repairs.
But keep telling yourself it’s rage and fear.
You can remap Character Select to an easy access key to quickly log out and not pay repairs. Can beat out any DPS easily.
