Lol we can see what you mean when you wont touch FC I can only assume because they match you in numbers and you cant win with what you plan tonight which is why both FC and NSP will zerg us again.

Well they’ve been outnumbering us at times badly and have wiped the main zerg more than once. But the majority of their players are still tactless and awful, more so than usual server pugs. If you get them on their own or in small groups its pretty easy loot bag time.
Although NSP will always be a small player base strong skill set server.

from our point of view we’ve found that Os has no skilled players and have been told they don’t gvg.. (which is ok). however, don’t say NSP has a strong skill set server just because you have (had) a few good players from guilds like tM and formally XOXO

On a serious note, some fun times last night. I had to get off earlier than I wanted but some good fights and a lot of pressure on us in GoM’s BL to retake Bay once we got it. I don’t think I stopped running from north to south gate once after we had it for like 5 mins. I also liked the catapult on the boat trick, that was neat. Was a bunch of you in there when you guys took it back, never a dishonor to go down fighting against those odds. Keep up the fight GoM, I’ll try to get us to start pushing on FC next (as I’ll advised as it may be. :P)

Since when did 3v3s become the new kitten-measuring metric for WvW? Are 5 people too many people for you? I remember the golden age when 5 man groups were able to take on twice their numbers. lol, 5 [MU] transferred from Tarnished Coast, like 10-12 [Swat] from Maguuma, yeah we bandwagon so hard. We clearly don’t have more people, we have a dedicated WvW community, which a lot of them have been putting in 10+hrs a day.

I think your problem is, Fair weathers, bad strategy ( like map blobbing), or simply to much PVF. Maybe CD/NSP under estimated what HoD was capable of? I’m not saying we’ll excel in Silver, but we wont roll over either.

It was in the wee hours of the morning, or late late at night depending on your perspective when about a dozen SF decided to attack our Bay with an omega golem. We rallied our defenders, all 7 of them, to fight a battle we expected to lose as our Bay was paper. Imagine our surprise when we stopped the attack at the outer gate with mere fractions of life left in the gate, the golem destroyed and the attacking force annihilated! Better luck next time SF but it was a good fight!

Going into the citadel is not an exploit. It’s been asked numerous times and nothing has been done about it.

There’s no real point to it other than to kill merchants and laugh about it because all of the enemy players are INVULNERABLE. Which means, if it’s your citadel, you can’t die. So, why would you feel the need to report it?

Was a great fight. We had Stylii from NoQQ in our TS and one of the guys from vT, can’t remember if it was Clownmagic or Moose or….. All of them are skilled anyway.

These fights are what Guild Wars 2 are all about. 1 guild vs another in open field. The guys you spend your time with, the guys you like and trust, against another guild that is similarly matched to you, spontaneous, bloody exciting, means something.

If you are in a guild or server …. that constantly zergs about.. and you roll over everything…. I pity you, cause you just don’t get it….. 90% of you never will. Perhaps you don’t care and it’s all about the WXP for you, well, you are the dross of the game that needs to get back on the xbox to get those XBL achievements.

Like I read a few posts up, it sucks, but when someone throws out a callout in map chat, and half of us are farming guards cause there’s nothing else to do, we’re all going to converge. Big and small groups alike. You play WvW for the fights, and when you don’t get any, it blows. PPT doesn’t reflect that.

What are you responding to “callout” for? FA have won the PPT game already. Grow some balls and come out in your guild groups and see how good you really are.

You won’t find SIC in EB unless we are running solo or 2-3 man. When we get together as a guild we usually hit an opponents BL. To be honest I haven’t run into NSP yet with the exception of a 3-4 man group trying to take Golanta during one of my roaming excursions. Not a dig at your server, I just feel you guys probably don’t care about this match up anymore…kinda like us.

XOXO almost never runs in EBG. We usually have 2-3 people running around except for those random nights when we can field around 10. Don’t worry, the only time we’ve cared about PPT is when we were trying to get up to silver league.

NSP has some real good individual and small group play. XOXO and others (can’t remember other tags do to drunk stacks) have great class comp., a tanky group that does a great job of getting people up, pretty good focus fire, and annoyingly good at resetting fights. I can see why people stay on this server as the overall play of the few players you have is actually really good.
BP not so much besides ex server mates SIC. How do guys fight next to these scrubs? Come home FA is too nice without Alaric calling everyone a terribad noob kittenny kitten kitten. Handeman /wave.. miss you man.

I’d love to fight XOXO one on one; the problem is that every time I see you guys it’s a 3-5 man group with a couple of random pugs along for the ride, and every time someone declares a fight club somewhere by the time I notice it’s too late.

I will say this though: I was very amused last night when you all jumped my warrior, I dove off the bridge, and then got into a vicious one on one fight with an NSP Guard underneath said bridge while a whole bunch of pubbers got rolled above. To that Guard; good show sir, but i think I would have gotten you had I started at above 12k health :P

Just pick one out and give them a /bow @. Keep doing this until they bow back and duel on. If its a dangerous place, we’ll probably try joining/inviting you to talk and move to the closest windmill or other safe place.

The thing that has lowered my opinion of XOXO though is not fights that’s have gone both ways whilst I roam ruins etc, nor even the trolls on this forum (that most guilds have tbh), but the infantile emote spamming of a very average XOXO Mesmer (I was reliably told his/her name was Varconi) as he/she tried desperately not to die in a duel at the windmill today. For me that lowers your value as a guild and hurts all the excellent players i’m sure you have in it, such as yourself.

I’ve never heard of XOXO players running from a duel unless it was a pointless duel against a bunker and the fight was going on 10+ minutes. I’m glad you think that person is a very average mesmer because I’ve seen comments complimenting the game play of Varc on match forums previously.

As for emote spamming, if you’re upset about it you can join the club. Our reputation, which isn’t important because this game should be about whatever is fun to that person. Let me reiterate, this is a game. It should be played as one. Emote spamming adds fun to the game and is generally used by us to laugh about beating ridiculous odds and/or killing someone who was trying to troll us.

The fact that people have taken so much interest in killing us makes it even more fun. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen zergs turn to try and catch the unlucky XOXO and then laugh, kneel, and dance on their corpses. Thank you for adding to my gaming experience.

The real problem with zerging as hard as Sbi does. Is when someone like me catches you 111 pushers out in the open. I just shake my head at how bad some of the guys I come across. Sbi by FAR has the worst players I have seen in any server match up I have been in.

So play the loldefence. Play the omgmantehcannons. The real reason your hiding in that tower/keep/camp is cuz ur bad.

Even in gold league there is an abundance of roamers. I’m now positive after these remarks that nearly every person on SBI joined to press 1 in a zerg.

You are just wrong that there are massive amounts of 5-man/10-man WvW teams roaming about everywhere. You need to wake up and start seeing the WvW for what it is where 80%+ follow a blue dorito 99%+ of the time whether the commander knows what to do or not. FYI – 10%-15% are completely clueless and/or are doing other PvE/achievement hunting things and the other 5% are the roaming seekers.

Very random small PUG encounters can happen (usually with camp taking or on the path to taking one) and you think that is any challenge to a 5-man/10-man/havoc squad coordinated team? You can’t have a ‘fair fight’ because (unlike say WAR) there is no benefit to running small group versus 1-2 roaming/havoc trains/zerg blob.

Your best bet is to try to set up a GvG/sPvP arena but you are on the wrong spectrum of the servers for that type of play.

No, I’m not mistaken. Tier 1 servers have a plethora of roamers. Bronze league has a plethora of roamers. EBay/YB/<insert a server other than SBI> etc. You boast about your huge population yet have nothing to show for the in-between part of WvW (oh, you probably don’t understand this part so let me explain – you kill people from other servers when there is nothing going on instead of standing on cannons waiting for some random person to run by and shoot at once or twice).

There most definitely is a benefit to running around in a small group (say 2-5 players) – it let’s you become better at your class.
