I am having trouble completing map completion too. We have been blue for ever, and I just need a couple more things in the green area. I have even tried guesting on another server and it seems I still am set on my home server when playing WvW. Very Frustrating. Maybe they could just change the position of the colors on the maps from week to week or month to month…..
I remember Polymock, but you are right, there was no real incentive for that game or the minis in GW1. I think they have an opportunity to bring Polymock back but using the minis and improving it. They could do all kinds of different battles, like only insect minis or only human minis, etc for different achievements.
So I think that the minis are really neat and fun to collect, but there really isn’t any purpose for them. I thought it might be neat to build another mini game where you can build a small party/team with your collected minis and battle them against another player’s or NPC’s minis. You could have small arena’s in different towns. You could do group battles and/or one-on-one battles. Rarer minis could have a slight advantage. You could get rewarded with achievement points, gold, etc. Who’s with me?
Yes, but it is harder to discover new recipes if you don’t have all the possible ingredients handy. (I know you can go to the web and look them up, but I think it is more fun to discover them myself)…
I love the cooking craft to this game, the only problem I have is I have to use a huge amount of bank space up for storage of cooking ingredients. The raw materials go to the collections, but things like ball of dough, pasta, pie fillings, ect, need to be stored in the bank. If you would consider adding a pantry like you did the wardrobe to store these items, I would be eternally grateful. What does anyone else think?
This is true for me too. O’l stinky is there but no one to talk to to start it. I am on Fort Aspenwood.
I was skeptical. Very skeptical.
Gotta be said, I’m stunned. You’ve somehow meshed “open world” and “dungeon” together in a way I didn’t expect.
I agree 100%, this is a great update! I think it is great how you get that dungeon feel, but can come and go as you please. It is great how you just start out and the smaller groups just begin to form. And there is always help coming down the pipe if your group is overcome.

Something I have always liked in games is a card collecting / card game. I think this game would lend itself well to this sort of thing. A way to collect many different cards and build a deck out of a subset of these cards to challenge NPCs or other players to a game. I always thought that Polymock sounded like a card game, but you may have something already planned for that. Anyway, thought this would be a neat addition to an already great game. What does anyone else think about this? Thanks.

Oh, I would love a chef storage area! I have so many “cooking ingredients” that are not consumable or raw ingredients (like salt and pepper or bread dough) that take up more than one whole bank section. A generic crafting storage area would be fine too.
I don’t know about the game anniversary, but I am hoping that they do character birthdays like they did in GW1.
Yes, I agree character birthdays would be great too.
What are everyone’s hopes/rumors for some nice loot/bank space/other ideas for the one year anniversary coming up already?!?!
I don’t usually have trouble finding groups, but it is hard for me to ensure that I have a solid 1-2 hours of non-stop game time. With kids in the house, even after bed time, I get interrupted often and I hate making the rest of the group wait for me again and again. Or worse yet, have to quit before the end leaving the group short. Soloing it is too hard. So, my question is, has there been any thought of using NPC to bring the group up to 5 players? Like the henchmen from GW1 or like the NPCs that come with on some events in the world. Thanks for your consideration.
