I think the best advice to give is to not get frustrated. You are going to get killed. It happens and it could happen a lot. Just need to try and learn when to get into fights and when to avoid them. Get on voice comms despite what the forums make it seem there are a ton of happy helpful people in our game that are totally willing to help you enjoy yourself more.

I dont know about tactics in large groups but I am so happy I can actually use my abilities to get out of CC again as opposed to before were I got gated and murdered despite using my escapes and cleanses.

I think there is one giant thing you are overlooking with your approach to this topic. You are trying to use math and structure to explain things that are not controlled by those ideals. WvW is a crazy thing that does not make sense at all. I cant make a graph that explains why some commanders turn and fight while others turn and run. You cant mathematically show me why there are fights in certain areas of the map on some nights but not on others. All of these things are a complicated balance of people making split second decisions. No amount of analysis and number crunching can actually really explain how this giant mess we all love works.

I totally understand your desire to break it down into something you can quantify and explain. But that’s the best part of being human, there are always going to be surprises.

I was having issues with the game UI scaling after the patch and decided to uninstall and reinstall the game. Now that I have it uninstalled the GuildWars2 account download client does not work. Is there another location I can install the game from?

Does seem to be having issues still for different people. I’ve done it three times already today and nothing but I have guildmates who’ve gotten it today… Not sure if I’m somehow missing something but it seems bugged to me as well.

You didn’t beat him by yourself though, individually there’s very little to be proud of. You just happened to be on a server with 499 other people who were competent and organized (I’m assuming that’s the map limit). In a 25 person raid there’s still some pride to be had because you were good enough to be in the group and chosen for the purpose, in a world event it’s largely just up to luck.

O I didnt realize I needed you to determine what I can and cant be proud of. I was part of a well organized group that worked hard all day to accomplish a goal… I am proud of that and always will be.

Amazing job today Blackgate! The friendly atmosphere in TS made it a ton of fun and getting over 120 people in TS is not easy. Took a lot of hard work and coordination but we did it. Very proud to be one of you!

I am currently running a warrior with hammer and sword/warhorn. If you run clerics gear and spec shouts you can do alright damage while still being able to heal yourself. No class can do amazing damage and be amazingly tanky… if they could then there would be no need for anything else.

I think Warrior is overall more fun to play. With a hammer you can have a lot of fun knocking enemies down and smashing people. As a guardian it seems to be a lot of just pressing 1. That is of course just my opinion ive based off of my own experiences.
