Hey guys!
Based in Midwest North America (Central Time Zone). My home server is Maguuma and my primary character is a level 71 Mesmer (although I am also experimenting with the Necromancer). I have played this game for a little over two years now and am by no means new to MMOs ( have played Star Wars: The Old Republic for almost four years; and experimented with Lord of the Rings Online; Rift; and the Elder Scrolls Online).
However, when it comes to the more advanced dimensions of Guild Wars 2, I am somewhat inexperienced in terms of guild/end-game/dungeon/crafting etc. I’ve spent quite some time just running around, exploring, and enjoying the story, but now it’s time to settle in. I’m looking for a guild that is willing to teach me the finer aspects of GW2. Fully willing to represent the guild, and am looking for a guild that is medium sized and understands that other life commitments (such as academics and careers) may dictate my schedule. That aside, I am an easy going and flexible individual who would love to immerse myself in an active community.
I would like to consider a guild that covers PvX but with a primary focus on PvE. I have yet to invest much time in WvW or PvP, but am not adverse to these modes of play. I am willing to learn and commit to whatever the guild may be doing. What is most important is guild with a genuine sense of community- a community that facilitates interaction and companionship amidst members. I have solo’d a great extent of the content story content in GW2 up to this point and am really just looking to make some good friends.

Hey Acheron, don’t worry about the server guesting, it is very easy and a good way to be involved in a guild without switching. Here’s some info:
To guest on a server, go to your character select screen. In the bottom left hard side is a button for select your server. You can click on any server on the list that you would like to guest on. Two buttons show, one for guesting and one for transferring. Guesting lasts for 24 hrs or until you log out, so whenever you want to play on your guild server you will have to pull up the menu and select it. This is fast and easy though, so you will probably not find it inconvenient. In any 24 hour period you can only guest on up to two other servers (but you can re-guest to the same server as many times as you want, say if you log in and out 4 times in a day). This isn’t really a big deal though for most people.
Anyway, looks like you may have found another guild already… <3
Thanks for the information RedJustice, it is good to know my options. Naturally it would be great to find a guild on my server Maguuma so I could avoid any complications altogether. However I’m still weighing my options and have not officially decided on a guild yet, so I will take MadCast Gaming guild into consideration.

I have a small guild. We have been around since Jan 2013. The name is Brain Eaters inc [luv] slightly zombie themed. Luv is kind of random, it was the first thing to pop in my head at the time.
Any ways right now all the things we do are casual. I post events on the calendar usually tpvp or dungeons or some thing pve related. We also do stuff with our alliance guild. Usually that would consist of world vs.world, map stuff, or bounty stuff.

Maybe I will see you in gameoh yes, and we are on dragonbrand. It is an NA server, so we can do stuff together just not map type stuff without guesting. Also we have no other Maguuma people & all our resources (influence etc) are on dragonbrand just so you know.

Ok Troopa, I didn’t realize that it was fairly difficult with cross-server exchanges. I would definitely prefer to stay on Maguuma and I can say for sure I’m not deleting my characters. (Thanks for trying though) On that note, hey RIM. So it sounds like you also are on a different server though? How exactly does guesting work, is it still possible for me to collaborate in the guild on a different server?

the problem first, we are on Far Shiverpeaks EU and use the timezone GMT +1 but if you don’t mind that, we are recruiting new members.
My guild is called Technical Engineers and we are doing dungeon now (and for sure when we have enough member we do even more dungeon).

Concerning FarShiverpeaks EU is that a different server then, and how exactly would that work? I can send you a PM in game for more info. But Technical Engineers sounds exactly like the guild I’m looking for: small, dedicated, ambitious, willing to help each other become skilled players.

Hey guys, I’m fairly new to Guild Wars 2 (and the Guild Wars universe in general) I’ve had the game and been exploring around for quite some time and know the basics of the game but am not really sure how to get involved in the larger scheme of things. I joined a guild when I first started because someone was simply helpful but I haven’t had contact with anyone since. Generally I’m looking for a casual guild, I primarily like to simply explore and do PvE content, but am more than willing to be active in a guild, help where I can, do dungeons, raids, PvP, and etc… (Just have no idea where to begin with that).
I currently have two characters in game (my second I just created today though)

My secondary character is Chrysaor Icarus

Profession: Necromancer
