zzzz people GW2 is just another MMO for me, i already have the full exotic gear crafted and the accessories i bought from TP(all was almost or more then 10 gold, can’t remember well).
New Gear comes out?

I don’t kittening care if i have to farm all again with my main, i love farm. If GW2 didn’t had DE and just normal kittening grind(kill every mob on the map) i would love more this game.
I really don’t know why people are raging if you are mere “casual players”, the new gear is for “hardcore players” like on post said «we have found that our most dedicated players were achieving their set of Exotic gear and hitting “the Legendary wall.”».
I have friends started at day release and still don’t have full set of exotic gear and some still didn’t reached lvl 80, they farming slowly and enjoying game.
Also SPvP you don’t need gear! If you don’t want farm just go there and if you want WvWvW join populated server! Like 20 people vs 1 tower masterwork gear will do fine.
Zerg> gear.
Okay, the price of gold -> gems is very similar to the price of gems -> gold (there’s a trading fee taken out, but they change at the same rate).
Pick one:
1. gold -> gems is expensive so one gold gives very few gems.
2. gold -> gems is cheap so 100 gems gives a lot of gold.
Obviously, it can’t be profitable to buy 100 gems, trade it for gold, and then trade it for more gems than you started with, all at once, because that would be an exploit and people would quickly get infinite gold, which would destroy the economy and basically destroy the value of the currency.
So which do you want?
Do you want 1 gold to give very few gems, so it’s more expensive for players who don’t use real money to buy things from the black lion shop?
Or do you want 1 gold to give a lot of gems, so it’s more expensive for players to pay ANET real money to get gems that they can then trade for gold to buy things from the TP?
You can not have both.
i obviously would choose 2nd option, i would buy gems only to change for gold.
