If I were you I’d remove all my partitions, reformat my HD and reinstall my OS. There’s no telling what malware you’ve got.

I’m trying to buy some gems, choosing PayPal as my payment method. When I click on Proceed to PayPal the Paypal site does not open in my browser, making it impossible to complete the transaction. It’s no biggie for me, but I guess you want to get this fixed.

I’m currently trying to do the Lost Shores event chain, but have got stuck on the Canach event. He won’t turn attackable, so it isn’t possible to complete the event. Then comes a mail telling me there is a karka attack in Kessex Hills, but when I go there I see no karka, nor any other players. After that I travel back to Canach, but he is still bugged, so I stop doing these event ’cause travelling around gets kind of expensive.

Apparently there are other Lost Shores events stuck like this, and since the release there have been a multitude of events that have been broken. Personally, I’m a casual player, and all these broken events take away a lot of fun from the game. I’d rather be doing them than farm dungeons.

Let’s face it, events aren’t currently working well enough to be a major part of the game. The Plinx farming made that quiet obvious. Why don’t you fix the game engine before introducing content that will be bugged anyway?

It seems to me that your hardware might really be the problem. Don’t have too high hopes of a patch that’ll fix them. I’ve had my share of faulty computers, and from what I’ve experienced your problem might be:

• Heat. Check how hot your system is while under load.
• A PSU that can’t handle the load. Make sure your PSU is rated at least 80 PLUS. Even though those might seem expensive to you, remember that the PSU has do power all of the components in your system, and if the PSU isn’t good enough, you’ll have problems.
• Motherboard/graphics card incompatibility. Yeah, there are combinations of those that just don’t work together.
• Overclocking. If you’re running overclocked go back do default settings.
• Drivers. If you’re not using the latest drivers, get them.

I’m having the same problem. I’ve been kicked off a couple of times today, and now I can’t login. The launcher is reporting the following error code: 42:0:9001:3928
