Rangers… They don’t have a role in the WvW zerg (large group of 30+). Most classes have a nice balance/package of the following that makes them useful.
Support (AoE; healing, protection, stability, ability to rally an ally)
Damage (AoE condi + Nuke damage)
Defense (Ability to tank, and be on the front line)
Utility (AoE blind, AoE invisibility)
Please I would love to play my ranger in WvW (large group) and feel like i’m actually contributing.
Changing the DNS setting worked for me
I’m from Pretoria
Having this issue atm, changing the lanuguage does not seem to fix it for me.
Allowing the transfer of dungeon ownership will lead to huge problems. People will join your party, kick you and then take all your progress.
I think being a dungeon “host” should reward you privileges. If you don’t want 2 be kicked or have 2 deal with people giving up when you want to persist, then take it upon yourself to start the instance yourself. Then you are in control and you won’t need to worry about other people wasting your time.
The transfer of ownership is not a bad idea, but then both parties need to agree to it. Otherwise there is nothing stopping a group of trolls from kicking you and adding their friends right at the end of a very long fractal/dungeon.
I like the idea that if i start a dungeon I know i’m safe, and that i don’t need to worry about the owner ragequitting or dc’ing. There still is a problem that even if i start, people can kick me as the dungeon owner, which results in everyone being kicked.
The LFG tool is in beta everyone… What we need is a list of fixes that we as players would like to see.
I would like the following:
- Owners of instances should not be allowed to be kicked.
- Merging with other parties should proc a message, "Do you wish to leave your current instance. Yes/No " – so that you avoid accidentally merging and loosing your progress in a dungeon.
- Party chat should not disappear from your chat menu after you leave a party
- Only the dungeon instance owner should be allowed to have the option of merging parties. The rest of the players in the party should not be allowed to decide who joins a party.
