If you get the hint tooltip to show up, try clicking the window or the ‘X’ (which worked for me), rather than doing as it says. I had the same thing happen, which was discouraging after waiting over a year for it to show up.

Thank you for your suggestion, just tried that and finally it ticked it off. I clicked the hint box that popped up and voilá. Thanks again.

I’ve had the hint for the full mailbox happen to me a few times and I do as it asks and check delete a letter but the kitten thing just won’t tick off. I did this after wiping the box clean after each go and still nothing. Anything else I can do or shall I send a ladybug report?
