Comeback mechanics tend to be better than cascade mechanics. As one forum poster put it. Not sure who though lol.
Update Drivers? But also, I personally don’t like post processing, anti-alias. So I turned them off. It got me more frames.
In our Hero Panel, couldn’t Anet give us multiple equipment slots, so we could hold like 5 sets of armor and weapons. Which will let us flip through equipment sets, effectively changing stat and weapon skills readily on the fly. Then all you have to do is change traits by hand.
Also, storing 5 different armor & weapon sets should allow us to save 5 or so different look loadouts as well.
Thoughts, ideas, comments, hopefully some community support? Lol
Hey Cal! You should also spend some time fixing the matchmaker too….
Anet needs to take a page out of the Disney playbook and start putting Guild Wars 1 classic armor skins in the Gem Store; like when Disney remakes their classics in live action.
But seriously, there are a lot of Guild Wars 1 armors I would buy, and then have Expansions focus on new armors so we’d have the, “Best of Both Worlds”. Just release one armor set a months its all i ask. I’ve been playing the Guild Wars IP since just after Nightfall.
Define afk? Whats the score? If its a blowout, people hate being farmed. So in that instance could you blame them….
It seems right now our solo/duo queue isn’t creating the most balanced of match-ups.
We should try to have the best of both worlds by having a dedicated Solo and Mixed Team Queue.
Arena net should reintroduce a updated Mixed Queue were at the beginning of the season you can create a team (not guild based) in which you can invite/register 5 and only 5 people to your team. Whether friends or guildies, they are committed to said team for the season’s full duration. Now in this new mixed queue you can’t party up with anyone other than on your team. However, you can queue from solo, duo, 3-man, 4-man, and 5-man contributing to you team’s MMR score and team’s position on the leaderboard for rewards and title payout. Each team should have minimum matches played goals such kitten matches with a 5 man team to ensure 5 different individuals playing and contributing to their team. Then maybe 200 games miscellaneous games played (like 1-5 man comps).
Now, with a new mixed queue system. Arena net can make comprehensive changes to the current ranked system such as Solo – Only, profession locked MMR, profession and aggregate MMR Leaderboard positions. Hopefully closing the MMR disparity between match ups resulting in more balanced matches, hopefully more balanced matches leads to more participation and greater interest in group play.
This could also allow Arena net to possibly have different seasons at different times.
I’m not 100% sure how complete of a idea this is. Feedback would be appreciated or possible improvements.
It would be nice to have some variety in the seasons, but i think the real culprit is out of 10 people in a match up there is a bigger MMR disparity than it should. Probably in an attempt to balance the team compositions, creating blowout outcomes.
For any developers out there, could this possible for Guild Wars 2’s Spvp and the larger game at whole? Or possible in the near future, perhaps expansion time?
I figured some people might not want to use such features, and they shouldn’t be forced too. But for the people who do; I think GameBridge could be a great first step in improving the Spvp of the game, teaching new players, helping good players to become better, and avoiding unnecessary losses.
PS: If any developer could give a response, it would be really appreciated!
On the Dragonhunter
Fix List: The Virtues, F1, F3 need to be instant cast. It just slows the Guardian down even further, and you cant fire them off when under pressure. However, F2 seems okay but maybe a little further when traited would be nice.
On F3, the defense screen definitely needs to protect you, not just projectiles.
The Traits: would it be too much to ask for a 25% movement trait on some level. Consider this, how about we take a damage reduction, say 10 – 15% so when it opens the rune slots; it’s not such a huge power creep, and it would give us some build flexibility. Grand, Master, Adept it would be nice to have.
and for the, " Improved traits for BWE 3."
Master – Hunter’s Determination: Drop a Fragments of Faith trap at your location when you’re crowd-controlled.
^- A truely pointless trait that serves no purpose, now if it was, " Light of judgement aka Jesus Beams." We’d be better off.
Master – Zealot’s Aggression: Deal extra damage to crippled enemies. Damage bonus increased from 7% to 10%. Justice’s passive effect cripples enemies (1.5s).
^- It seems good, but its just another trait in a long line of traits that are just boring damage modifiers; something more original would be better.
Traps: I don’t feel their useful at all. I would prefer something more, " Actively in the moment." Cause Guild Wars 2 is a mobile based game.
I too agreed with this statement, in spirit.
