When something is added to WvW (even if it comes with an update), aside from new classes, it is availible to everyone in WvW. If it wasn’t it would unbalance WvW and create an unfair advantage for people who spent money.
That being said, any future updates to wvw should be availible to everyone who plays wvw. Autoloot should also be availible to everyone in wvw even without hot because it is now a wvw mastry and not a hot/cental tyria mastry.
Thanks for the feedback. I’d love to do longer stories, I just need to write them and find the right voice actors. I wasnt sure if it was worth it because there doesn’t seem to be a lot of interest. I figured there would be a little more interest. :P
No Comments at all? Thats rather disappointing.
I used to be part of the Audio Drama/Podcasting community. Everyone once in a while inspiration strikes me to dust off those voice acting & Audio Editing skills.
This is a bit sloppy, and the original audio was done over a year ago, so there are a couple clips that don’t quite match/are a slightly different quality. I hope it doesn’t grate the ears too much. I decided I wanted to finish it and post it up.
For your Amusement I present the short Audio Adventure – The Danger of Lab Assistance – Part1

HoT Price Feedback + Base game included [merged]
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

I would have no problem with 50, if i felt it was worth 50. Gw1 released two stand alone campaigns at 50. Which I happily purchased when it was brand new. They were whole, complete games. They added an extra character slot and two new classes, Whole new regions, with a DIFFERENT story line. Eye of the north was the first ‘expansion’ that required the base game. it was something like 30. I’d compare EotN to HoT. Maybe I will feel different about it once they clarify EXACTLY what buying HoT gets you. Many people clearly don’t think its worth 50, because none of us are even sure whats all included. The community who is solely focused PvP and WvW, are less inclined to purchase and/or see the benefit of purchasing such a steep price. If they aren’t in it for the story, then what? A new class? A new guild hall?
All I’m saying is 50 is way too much for an expansion that a.) People only have a foggy idea whats in it. b.) has no release date.
You should come to Ehmry. We are made up of mostly solo roamers and small group havoc. T5 is nice and calm enough that you dont run into blobs MOST of the time when roaming. Come on down. Most people like our community once inside of it.
HEY! Welcome oRx. We try to have the most fun possible here at ebay! ^^
Sorry Guys! We closed down the missionary. Too many gangsters & gamblers. (If none of you get that reference, I swear, I’ll disown you all).
We opened a ranch down the street though. Plenty of cowgirls there.
But I’m a hermit! If not interested, Please only contact if interested in purchasing my Caliber Cudgels. They are specially made for clubbing curious caterwaulers who clomp about looking to categorize courtiers and courtesans. Please inquire thusly. Good day and thank you for your time.
OMG! Bahahaa. You actually posted it. Im dying, I’m dying. Gimmie the shovel, I want to become a hermit and shake my fist at the passing yaks. That sounds just my style.
Are you looking for an EU sever?
If you want a server of people who like to roam and havoc you should come to Ehmry Bay on NA. Unfortunately we do have dead times, but anything under T3 is bound to have dead times. Just a thought, we like to have fun.
EBay best Bay <3
Come join us!
xD Ooooh Ultra.
E-Bay is only bay. Home of roaming cats.
Home, Home on the straaaange. We have so much fun. ^^
I remember a game in GW1, i think it was around dragon festival time, where you shot glowing orbs at other players. shakes head anyways. I think the point was a last man standing type of thing. You could dodge, and hide behind things, and it was base more in strategy.
I like the king of the hill PvP game, but I’d like to see other simple variations as they said above, capture the flag, last man standing, and team free for all base on number of kills. Even silly little things like races. By this I mean, where a player , or group of player try to get from one end of the map to another, while facing the other team who is trying to keep them from getting to their destination. I see this type of map having things like traps, and areas that you must flip a switch to open a gate to pass. Fun little challenges like that.
I haven’t played in the ‘tournament’ so im not sure if that is 1pv1p, or if it contains any of the suggestions I previously mentioned.
I also agree. I’d also like to see (even if its a gem bought upgrade) a way to upgrade the collectible slots to hold more. I’m a pack rat I’ll admit, but especially for the common mats 250 seems a little underwhelming. For example, if I may, it takes 10 copper to make 5 ingots. That makes 125 ingots. You tend to burn though resources at a quick pace when you are actively crafting, but when you are out and about common resources add up quick, and you tend to run out of places to put it.
I’m the kind of person who likes pretty games, and as such I like to take screen caps.
I like to make a narrative of my character from various angles, on various landscapes, etc. But the camera controls make it very hard to do this. I went into options and bound a key for ‘free camera’ thinking that if i press this button i’ll be able to move my camera around a little more freely.
Wrong. I was baffled as it seemed to do absolutely nothing.
I’d like to be able to zoom IN farther, so I can get a shot of my character’s face. I’d like to zoom OUT to a camera view that if I WANT to get a whole body shot fairly close up without being cut off at the knees, I can.
While I’m at it, I’d like to see more fun/social interactions, animation/poses.
I work on 3d myself, so I know how difficult or how much work goes into adding in a whole new animation (or pose), and I know how much can go wrong when you have overlapping meshes (because that cause crazy clipping and the like, and more headaches than sometimes seems worth it).
But think about much more personality & narrative it could add to the game.
Sometimes standing around in town, goofing off with your friends is the most fun part of a game.
Just a thought. Thanks for your time.
