My entire clan is complaining, even we are scattered all around south america. Some people on north usa and canada where complaining as well.
Chat and HOTM lobby seems to work fine, but pve and pvp content does not.
My entire clan was complaining as well. We are mostly from south america, but we are hours or even days of travel between each others.
I asked on map chat and some people of alaska and canada were complaining as well.
Map chat seems to be working OK, same as HOTMS lobby, but when inside a match you get DC or lagged.
This last season was awesome and fun, I have to admit that before this season I played pvp only once in a while, but this season I decided to actually play ranked and had a blast doing so.
Even so, there are some recomendations on how to improve it:
1- More information on combat log. About 50% of the matches I lost, I had no idea why, on a second I was defending a point, the next one I was dead, no stomping or anything, just dead. I would like to know who and how I died, so I can improve my strategy. Lot of games do this with a death cam, which I know, it is very hard to apply on this type of game, but a clear combat log would be great.
2- Improve matchmaking. Most matches I`ve played either a team stomp the other, or the other way. Very few matches have felt like a challenge, and those were the one I enjoyed more.
3- Keep the cumulative rewards. It is great that you keep rewarding people, even if they`re stuck on their league, this promotes people to play more, rather than making them stop playing just in case they go down a league.
4- At the end of season, give rewards based on highest league achieved. They don’t have to be huge rewards, but just an extra.(1g per shield + 1g per league maybe?)

For everyone still having the same issue, i just solved it using the following steps:
Locate your Gw2.exe file.
Right-click on the file and select Create shortcut.
Rename this new shortcut to Guild Wars 2 Repair.
Right-click on Guild Wars 2 Repair and select Properties.
Locate the Target line and add –repair to the end. …
Click OK.
After you do so, revert the steps, so you don’t have to wait the game to repaid in the future.

Guild Wars 2: We can’t log in.
But in all seriousness, would absolutely love feedback on this. So far nothing on the forums (on what works at least) and nothing on the facebook page. Kinda disappointed in paying so much money on the expansion pack for broken content.We do not post maintenance updates or that type of messaging on Facebook because Facebook severely limits how many people we are able to reach on that platform. We have been posting updates both on the forums and Twitter, per our usual procedure.
Again we apologize for the down time. Our team has been working diligently on the issues.
It has been more than 9 hours now and I still have the issue. Also, not posting on facebook but doing so in tweeter is ridiculous, when you say so you sound like this:
“Hey, we do not inform stuff on tv and internet, because not everyone has a tv or a computer, instead we post stuff on a small column on our local newpaper”(which almost no one reads)
Facebook’s reach is far larger than twitter and forum(not only has very limited reach, but you have to search the specific solution).
Also, I can’t see anything on forum news and announcements, which will be the logical way to announce a big maintenance

Anyway, please understand in the future that a heads up it is great, and that facebook and your own homepage is the place where scheduled maintenance should be announced.(besides news and announcements on forums and twitter)
Same here. Wanted to a quick teq before going to sleep… thank the genius that thought expansion and event should be released the same day… we’ve had countless patchs and game is still unplayable.
