All mist-traveling skills act as an evade…fantastic.
What was the sword being used by the character in the background? (Behind yourself and Rubi on the green screen).
Was it a new one or an existing sword?
I believe it was this image- https://d3b4yo2b5lbfy.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/d1b42Elite-Skill-Chaotic-Release.jpg
The amount of feedback that is being taken into account is greatly appreciated. I just hope that the Elite specs are receiving the same kind of treatment.
That talk about soon™
You killed me
No worries, you’ll get Infuse Light when I revive you.
Best note from the whole stream: Unrelenting Assault is now an evade. Praise the gods.
Looking forward to trying out Herald soon.
Unrelenting Assault definitely needs an evade. I’m sure most of us can agree on that. Shortening the time this attack takes to complete would also be immensely helpful.
I will be using Jormag’s Breath with Frostfang. It’s a lovely combination.
I’ll use the Chaos skin for my hammer and old faithful Bifrost for staff.
It’s sad that we might have to rely on Traveler runes. In any case, let’s enjoy the ooc impossible odds super speed while we have it!
There needs to be swiftness on Jalis road. It makes the most sense to add it there.
My revenant will be sylvari, just like my current main. Keep in mind that the sylvari will get a different experience in HoT. If you don’t want the possibility of turning into Mordy’s puppet, roll asura!
Welcome aboard the Revenant Hype Train.
Revenant will surely be passable in PvE, but I’m more interested in taking my Shiro Rev for a spin in PvP. Our combat mobility seems really fun to play with.
Rage will be the go-to rune for Revenant i feel if you have access to permanent fury, which you should if you have a warrior in the group using FGJ on cooldown alongside the Revenants traits that proc fury and such.
Never been a fan of scholar runes, as soon as you dip below 90% hp (which happens quite often) the runes are just suddenly not being utilized at all, they’re effective in a premade group where you can coordinate better, but most people probably run in pugs, but thankfully (as you’ve stated yourself) Rage will pull ahead on damage over scholar runes for the Revenant (Hooray!)
This pretty much sums up my thoughts on the matter. Rage runes came to mind immediately when I saw our traits. Considering their cheap price and the fact that most people PvE casually, Rage runes are definitely the way to go.
I played with staff quite a bit without Ventari. It’s quite a useful utility weapon. Plus, the damage bonuses it will receive by the next beta test will make it even better.
Goodness, those damage boosts! I’m looking forward to seeing all that new damage in future beta tests.
Makes me think of Diablo 3’s Seven-Sided Strike.
Got no problem with traits focused on a legend. That’s the whole point of specializing into something.
This seems to be the general theme to Revenant. In the end, though, we are going to be seeing a lot of very similar Revenants as we will be unable to personalize our builds much without gimping ourselves.
That being said, I will wait until I see the Shiro and Glint traitlines before I draw any solid conclusions.
I’m quite excited for the stream tomorrow. Rift Slash auto attack sounds promising. I’m looking forward to some beautiful animations. Keep up the good work.
Thief’s steal from Revenant has not yet been implemented.
Swiftness please.
And my most wanted change? Change staff back to a dps weapon.
I’m quite happy with how sparse the talking is. I’m already a bit weary of Jalis’ odd belching noises.
Your hammer and staff calculations match my experience. I did not try out Mace-Axe as I generally dislike conditions. I’ll certainly give it a spin with zerk gear now.
The issue right now with Revenant is that its weapons are too closely reliant on the corresponding trait line. Staff is a good example of this. Plus, staff’s power scaling is abysmal.
At least the 5 skill is amusing.

The old collection wasn’t retired when the new collection was introduced. It was only retired afterwards. Figuring that the achievement would soon be retired, I put in tickets and such for help and did not get any. Now it might be too late.
My support ticket got a reply back, but it was an automated response. I hope I get some concrete help soon.
I put in another ticket. I hope I get a good response considering there are other people with this issue.
I called them duplicates because they look exactly the same in the achievement panel. I am aware of the different requirements.
I’ll try putting in another support ticket, even though I tried before and did not get a satisfactory response.
I’d also like to add that several people in this reddit post had the same issue:
http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/2oc1i0/stuck_at_4849_miniature_collection_set_iii/
I tried submitting an in game report and a ticket on the website and received no help from both attempts, so I’ll try this.
Before the wardrobe update, I had both my Set I and II completed and my Set III was at 45/49. Being an achievement collector, I wanted to get it done as soon as possible, but the last few minis (the exotics) were outrageously expensive. So I put if off.
The wardrobe update came and changed the way the mini achievements worked – making them require adding minis to the wardrobe. The three “new” mini achievements appeared in my achievement panel, giving me duplicates of the mini achievements (2 Set I achievements, 2 Set II achievements, 2 Set III achievements).
Although I was annoyed about having to do the sets all over again, I did not mind getting extra points. So I got Set I and II done. When I finally got around to doing ALL of Set III again, the final tier completed for ONE of the mini Set III achievements, but not the other! So at that point, I had (45/49) in my Set III collector, EVEN THOUGH THE OTHER EXACT DUPLICATE OF THE ACHIEVEMENT WAS COMPLETED.
I tried contacting A-net about it, but I didn’t get much help. Now that achievement is in the historical section in Retired Achievements.
Can I get some help here? Not having those delicious 10 points I rightfully earned burns my soul
