What’s the rev’s role? I feel comfortable in 1v1 , it’s difficult vs thieves, and mesmers, but it’s none compared to teamfights. DH traps knock me down while i’m used sw 3 or staff 5, so I just always on the ground, cuz knocking me down continues during trap duration, sometimes sw 3 don’t working, so I just stand “in the mists” and deal 0 damage. I’m pretty useless with my main source of damage (sw 3) in temfights too, or vs necros, rangers, mesmers. I’ll survive if enemy team wont focus me, but if they are – I live about 4-7 sec.
With last patch something horrible was done with matchmaking, so the skill difference is really huge. I can easily defend point 1v2/3, and my team does everything to win. As a result game won. Mostly I have opposite situation- novices just rush 1v3, or fight between points, or trying to catch thief, who kites them through half of the map. I don’t even talk about some elementary teamplay moments like cc, condiclear or else.
So what to do for me, to win a game with higher rate? I don’t even know some streamers to see some tricks, cuz everyone shows skill playing dh/mesm/thief. And youtubers doing another one “www roam outnumbered-by-lowskill-guyz” with a disgusting soundtrack. And other utubers say that “rev rip” and play with ranger/legion.

I had thought about taking retri instead of invo, but I like that stun break.
So there’s a question – how? I cant do anything using staff/swordshield against teams with hard condi pressure/guardians. It’s unreal to survive more than 4 sec, as usual in the opposite team 2-3 guardians, so all tries to retake= death in traps. It’s extremely hard if there’s pair of condi warriors, rev has poor condiclear, or I dont’t know smth. I can win guardian or warrior 1v1 (at my rating of course), but cant 1vs2. Tried hammer/staff build, and this is easier to play, I suffer from thiefs, ofc it could be easier with s/shield istead of staff, but it’s better to hold the distance. I’m doing 700k-1kk dmg, just spamming hammer bolt, standing near the tree. Is this a final strategy for rav playing? What role has revenant?

Ofc in HoT map, I’ve done already fix-r-upper , ydalir, bo. I know the process. I’m trying to get machined shield for glint’s, but can’t. Maybe i’m doing smth wrong?
Doing glint bastion now, and there’s no option at hp to charge weapon part. Did almost all, just need vinetooth fang and charged shield part.

Get used to my scrapper and rev, but how to play this?
A lot of condi warrs or druids, so i cant do anything first tick of burning gives away 1/3 of my hp bar. Druid cant feel my damage. Can u advice me some actual build, or guide. Trying d/p or d/d (heard thay’re dead)
of course i have HoT, i’ve already discovered scrapper, and i’ll try it so time, so can u bring that strong scrapper builds as u say,but honestly i’d like to run as condi guy
Spent my 80 lvl booster for engi, so enjoy grenade build, tried to find out some info about it for pvp, i mean unranked arenas, took sinister amulet, but my survivability is bad, and i’d like to know what amulet is better, cuz meeting some mesmer = death if there’s no corner around despite i have 2 blocks with tool kit and shield. And another question what armor prefix i need for equip – sinister or viper and why?

Trying to do some pvp with rev 3d day, and can’t do nothing, allmost everyone beat me down. I enjoy hammer build,so playin’ it, and now it’s easy with warriors, double pistol thiefes, rangers.
D/D , d/p, s/d thiefes put me down in about 10 sec,so i cant do anything.they’re dodging and etc. so i cant just damage them. Grenade engineers just owe me with full hp bar, and its rly dissappointing. I cand understand this class, a hade pvpv with warrior/thief/DH and in about an hour i was rly useful, but not playing rev. I like this class and i’d like to improove my pvp skill at it, so can u advice me smth? mb some streares or else?
