I don’t get what you are complaining about.
Each fractal lvl takes much shorter now, since it is only one and not 3/4.
Meaning that you can farm out fractals much faster with an efficient group.
Also opening the chests is worth it! Ofcause it is not worth it to buy others loot and open it! That has to be a gamble, but if he had farmede the 1000 Fractal Encryptions and spend 120G on opening them he would have made: 262-120=142g.

Or am I missing some point here?

Yeah, THAT sucks… Not getting it back.
Even if it is a small item it sucks to lose an item you worked for.
And I hope they will look in to this, but it doesn’t seem like many people care about it, when you look at how many have seen this thread and how many have commented.

I got my item back, and they told me too that they might not be able to perform that service again the next time.

Generally I agree with you, it is annoying to have to type the name to delete an item, but that is because the systems is used on items that does not matter, I mean how often do you really delete ascended gear? Normally I would sell it rather than delete it.

I do not know how big a problem this is either, I have only experienced it this one time, but I just thought it might help a few people ( maybe me one day :p ). And it is not like it is a new feature, it just needs to be added to ascended gear, where it could actually be useful :p

So, I deleted my ascended backpiece the other day (by accident), when I wanted to swap it to another character. I think it is too easy to delete an ascended item on accident.
When trying to delete an ascended item the game just asks if you are sure you want to, but when you try to delete other “less worth” items you have to type the name of the item to delete it (eg. Rolan’s Key Fragment (1/4) from the JP “Troll’s Revenge”)
Why not do the same with ascended gear? I think this could solves some problems (I can not be the only one who has deleted an item on accident).

Another thing with ascended gear… It sucks to share the gear between toons! Why not implement a system like the one World of Warcraft uses for their heirlooms? where all characters on an account can open up a tab and grap the heirlooms they need, which means that more than one toon can have the “same” item equiped at the same time. This could save some time, and the gear is already account bound, so this feature would just make it more convenient.
