Isn’kitten bit stupid that in order to get your ascended gear you are FORCED to level ALL the professions? I mean, I have a lot of charcaters and I play all of them so I need all kind of armors (light, medium and heavy) and basically every weapon in the game. basically, I need 1000+ gold just to max every profession I need+of course all the gold I need for the actual gear. I mean, isn’t crafting supposed to be something optional? I’m trying to slowly level up at least the most important disciplines but it’s a long, boring and expensive process. Plus you can’t get a single copper out of your discipline, you actually lose money even when you craft and sell exotic gear. Basically, we are just forced to level a specific discipline in order to get the ascended gear. I think they made this choice since crafting was uselss so they wanted to force us into it, but it’s a terrible choice. And don’t tell me “you can drop ascended gear” because you know it’s not possible. I’ve been playing since the first day, have around 3500 hours and I’ve never dropped a single ascended items (I’m not counting the enormous amount of rings from fractals). You can actually drop something but it’s more like a miracle so you can’t rely on that. What are your thoughts about this matter and crafting in general?
As many of you, I just fell in love with the bladed armor. But looks like the only way to get the chest part is by getting t4 in the map meta events. And even then you have a very low chance of getting it. I menaged to get the t4 reward 3 times (I crashed once and lost all the progress) and of course I got nothing but garbage from it every time. So, I don’t want to complain about this, but isn’t this thing a bit unfair? I mean, after you spend litteraly hours doing events on the map, with an high chance of failing to reach t4, you only have a tiny chance of getting the chest piece. I mean, I’m okay with working hard in order to get something, I’m ok with the luck factor in the game, but having both things at the same time is ridiculous. I feel like I’m gonna spend ages on that map without being able to obtain the armor. Anyone else feel the same way?
It can’t be used in combination with other skills anymore! I always used it as an extra gap closer, especially in pvp, in combination with other skills like shadowstep+steal, infiltrator’s strike+steal, heartseeker+steal and so on. It’s so unfair. The skill goes on cd, but you don’t actually shadowstep to your target or apply any effects. I don’t know if it’s a bug or they’ve done it on purpose, but it’s definitely a big indirect nerf to thieves and it also make this class less funny to play by reducing their options in battle
I was just wondering.. Any chance of having a new combination of stats with power-precision and ferocity-TOUGHNESS instead of ferocity-vitality? Would be awesome. I’m currently playing my daredevil and having a bit of extra health is nice, but it doesn’t reflect my playstyle. I focus on dodging attacks, so I don’t take much damage, but whenever I get hit, the amount of damage is enormous. yeah, I have a lot of hp, but it’s still pretty boring. I’d rather take less damage and having less life instead of having a big health pool that just disappears whenever you get hit.
