Dyes in GW1 were even worse. You had to use a dye per piece of armor they weren’t permanently bound to a character. Be grateful we have a larger variety and bindings to characters now.
I think it is fine as is. I sometimes wish it was account bound too, but they need to establish a market somehow.
I’m going to go a step further and say you don’t need to even add Ascended. Sure some people have their legendary items already. Do you think adding Ascended gear is really going to slow them down? This kind of thinking will have you in the same scenario you currently are in a month or two later if even. A lot of the core player base that doesn’t take time to post on the forums is getting upset and worried over this and the brief blog post I read about the ascended gear has me getting worried too.
Why are you catering to so few who will be in the same boat a month down the line again ANet?
Ahh I don’t think so Tim. This sounds exactly the opposite of what I want out of a game. I like dungeons being casual with the ability to choose what loot you want after beating the paths a few times.
My only issues is some of the dungeons really feel like you can tell where the QA stopped. on them. Take AC / TA / CoE / some of the SE paths for example so far.
someone posted about this a while back.he had to stay in the same zone and had to wait for it to change from day to night in order for the weapon to glow.changing to a zone that is night wont work
Still a bug though that needs to be fixed
Just got a ghostly great sword very disappointed to see it doesn’t change at night.
