I also had lots of problems with finding this one.

Basically, you mustn’t go downstairs. There’s a ghost pirate standing in some kind of a treasure room, but it’s not what you’re looking for.

You must enter the ruins (some oozes to kill) and move north-east. There will be a hole in a wall, which is tricky to find. Then you just go straight, killing pirates along the way. And finally you find a splendid chest.

Btw., the trait is unlocked when you enter the chest room, even before you loot it.

Remember, it’s in the Shattered Keep (ruins full of ghosts), not in the Fort.

Also Alafoss, unfortunately NA and EU players can’t really play together; not in open world nor in dungeons as our account infos are stored in separate data centers or something. We can still chat, just not play together.

Whoa, I can see a game maniac (word used on purpose). I remember times when in my opinion sleeping was for mortals and gaming was for gods. Now I’m older and I’m not so excited, but still I spend lots of time playing. I came from WoW couple of weeks ago and so far I’m enjoying my GW2 time.
