Guild Wars 2

Posting as an addendum to the OP above. I’m looking for a large, established, active as heck, PvX based DR Guild, to compliment the one I am in. (And possibly switch, depending on activity.)

I want specifically this on DR, so that guild activities that I conduct, actually contribute. (As far as I can tell, cross server contributions isn’t happening at this time, and getting zilch out of it, irks moi.)

I’m a returning player, after a year plus absence, and am looking for a genuinely stable, large, +30 something akin age bracket, guild to simply play the game and have fun doing it. I ‘am’ PvE oriented mainly, WvW pvp a side interest, looking to get into end game dungeon content.

A good website, voice chat for listening in to (broken mic atm,) and registering and applying, I have done before, and can do again. Such are my eyed preferences.

I think the above says enough. I am beginning to play again, in the evenings (when my daughter lets me on the computer.) I am a former USAF vet, family man of 10+ years, and eating candy as I type this.

Probably first come, first served, but activity is a must, not just people numbers, so bear such in mind if I am contacted in game.

Then make a third dungeon difficulty level, ala Diablo II-esc wise. New challenges, elite armor artworks, achieves, the whole deal. Overtuning current content just makes things unnecessarily harder, in a ‘cheese’ way, rather than in a refreshing way.

Well, my problem seems to come down to zoning between major areas, if moving between Queensdale and Divinity Reach, is of indicator. I can switch into instances within major areas, bot switching major zones just causes the above problem, where the loading screen flickers, then the game freezes up, with sound and music in the background, with me not even able to Alt-Tab out, resorting to Alt-Tab-Delete to cancel the game.

I have done a cleanup of my ATI video drivers, and other than this problem (so far,) gameplay was going smooth. I have done another repair, need to know what else I need to do at this point, before I simply go back to another MMO here.

My problem stems from transitioning between areas, between Queensland and Divinity Reach. I was playing until I went to go back from Queensland to the city, and then the game locked up on me completely. After I was forced to Ctrl-Alt-Delete out of the game, I tried to log back in, and after clicking on my toon to reenter, it locked up again, after a short loading screen, with progress icons at the bottom.

I did notice after a couple of tries at it, that the game would ‘flicker’, as if it had finished loading, then it would just freeze up, with sounds of the entry area of the city to be heard, but the graphics all just refused to trigger off of loading.

I already tried to do a repair, but no dice there, so not sure what to do from here. The broken polygon shooting spree was bad enough already, before I ‘think’ I fixed it, witout this annoyance. Hate to think that I just wasted about 90 bucks on this game, for not even one day of gameplay, that has been buggier than I’ve ever seen in an MMO before.
