I’d be more excited about HoT replayable missions with challenges if those motes worked properly.
I mean, if they can’t fix this, then what assurance do I have that they’ll be able to avoid the same problems in the future?
I won’t lie. This is super-annoying, but it’s other still a pretty good MMO for a very decent price. I won’t give up GW2 over this.
I just wish they told us they’re working on it, and actually got around to fixing it. It’s pretty important.
Still no fix eh?
@Churbah – most of us stuck here are people who have completed all the storylines, and are redoing them for achievements.
We don’t have a problem finding the instance. It’s just that once in, the instance doesn’t give us the challenge mote we need to get the achievement.
I sent a bug report.
Planning to send more if they don’t fix it.
Acknowledgement that they’re working on a fix would be nice.
I don’t mind waiting for a fix I know is coming. But if it’s not coming, then I’ll try a few times a day to get in…
Kind of frustrating to have an almost-complete collection.
Meeting the Asura bug is the only thing keeping me from getting the full set.
Please fix.
I’m having this problem. I read that someone re-read the letter from the living story, and that spawned it (maybe a coincidence). I tried playing the living story up to it and no luck.
I’ll keep trying…
Crafting: make higher-up crafts automatically create lower-down required crafts

So if I have the required ingredients, I don’t have to go craft each piece of a weapon to make a weapon, my character automatically “knows” to make all sub-components to make the weapon.
Likewise, please add a simpler way to tell which ingredients are missing for higher-up crafts, so that I don’t have to sort through recipes to find what I need.
Make tools have a lower chance to break when used on lower-quality nodes

That would make it less punishing to play in lower-level areas, farm candy cane nodes with higher-level characters, and pretty much remove the economic need to carry multiple tool sets.
