Guild Wars 2

I suggested in the thread I just posted, that it would be nice to get the option to choose what character select background you want to see upon startup. And for the fans (like me) of the login screen, that dates back before the game officially released, an option to choose between a launcher or the login screen from then would be awesome.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that doesn’t like the new character select screen and launcher. As was suggested, mayby they could throw in a selction option that we can select what launcher we want to see and what character select background we want. I’m also a fan of the very old login screen that took over your whole screen with the Guild Wars 2 logo that switches colors as a movie in the background (the one we got in early acces before the game was released). Mayby it would be a good option to be able to choose if you want a launcher or that login screen from early times, and that we could get the option to choose what character select background we want. I think the music theme you hear in character select should be bound to the background you choose though.

Hopefully someone of the Arenanet team will read this ^^

thanks for replying, but that’s another problem than, i didn’t got helped by anyone, i just recieved it and in the mail was written that it was the compansation for the items i didn’t got as reward for the lost shores event…

i understand your point, but i didn’t got any help from a particulary agent, i do wish to speak with one of them, but i can’t find any e-mail adress…

i’ve got a serious problem : i got a mail from the guild wars 2 custommers support with a compansation for the item(s) that i didn’t got after completing the lost shores event some months ago. I logged in in my account some moments ago and got 5 mials. I didn’t noticed that my mail box was full and in the mail was written that we had to change to another character to get the items on that other character. I changed via log out and character select and see that my mails were gone. I want my reward so badly that I ask you if there is a way i can get my mail back or at least the item that was send with it? (the item was a karka chest) I am very greatfull if someone could help me.
