Just want to ask where I could find builds that has normal pve builds.

All I could find were WvW, PVP, Fractals and Raids

Just hope there was a site that could give me builds that focus on open world content etc.

Scepter Air AA increases in its damage per hit over the full channel, from .1 for the first 3 hits, to .2 for the next 3 hits, to .3 for the last 4 hits. The overhead damage is summed, but the increments are displayed in the combat log.

Hello, I managed to level and unlock all Tempest skills.

I want to play ranged characters and whilst I have managed to “breeze” through 1-80 and gathering HP with the help of guildies.

I would like to do HoT content (Open World PVE) with this character however, I can’t help but think that I may be squishy.

I’m not OP to say this but …
… All builds in forums (including this one) are technically suggestions.

In Tyria and maybe even Maguuma – Berserker should be dominant because it has it’s spike at the beginning of rotation unlike Conditions that have slow beginning and ramp up with time.
If we really wanted to peak efficiency we’d have to calculate every single mob’s toughness, every single buff or aura you get from people around, duration of the encounter… you’d technically want to kill yourself.
But this bleeder druid has fine damage and is viable for casual content. For Tyria, Maguuma, WvW… And with slight changes even Dungeons and Fractals.

I played the game before and the guild I usually ran with in PVE has become inactive now because they were all busy doing real life stuff.

I was roaming around the map when I saw a group of Necros (I think they all were), who were just sitting around. They keep repeating the same skills over and over and all they usually just do is that. Their pets do most of the killing.

Hello there I just came back and wanted to get an ele to 80, but don’t have that much fime to explore around. Question is, does crafting still get me to 80 faster? And how much gold would it be?

Hello. Just got back to the game, impulsively because of the Revenant.

I have reached 80 and my experience bar has stopped moving, my materies haveyet to be unlocked and I read that I need to finish my story, however I read that the previous mission before the Maguuma mission prologue,

However the mission is preceeded by a Living World Season 2 mission “Point of No Return” I think.

Do I need to buy the Living World series to access masteries?

Yeap. Ranged needs more imo. Hammer in the face rocks tho

I have played Guild Wars 2 since it launched, I kept leaving and returning to the game.

One reason I left was the lack of true “guilds” out there, that focused more on numbers and made some people felt just like numbers rather than members.

I AM GLAD, that there guys replied and now I feel really happy when they are online as well, a really small but productive, supportive and helpful bunch of people.

I enjoy representing this guild and is currently saving for a server transfer when I am ready to help at WvW (still leveling a new character )

to summarize, the Rev is really versatile

to me: its a jack of all trades, master of none (or maybe im not the master of playing a rev lols)

I impulsively bought the expansion with the reason of playing the revenant, I never really liked/read lore, but when I heard about the Revenant (and its armor sprite in the character selection screen) I was 50% sold.

Played it and there may be times when I felt that I was bored (probably due to running around and questing is different in this game), but the class got really fun when I began unlocking traits/specs/legends, it just got more versatile.

Only thing I hate/don’t like about Revenants now are
1) Very limited range option (the hammer hits hard but I wish I could use something else for range )

2) Upcoming nerfs (especially the Phase Traversal CD), however I do learned how to do rotations better

3) its mostly melee (I prefer ranged toons), but I was really impressed with the rev so far

haha and they said that one powers of the revenants is to walk “through” the mists… well… now every 5 seconds…

put revenant in expansion, make it feel complete and not needing a nerf, wait for buyers of the expansion, release expansion, nerf revenant.

@Paulytnz.7619 – yes, indeed I didn’t expect to love the engineer, rather get it to 80 but I do love the engineer class!. Thanks for the suggestion as well, looks like a nice open world build too

Hello there I just got back and decided to impulsively jump on the HoT hype train and bought the expansion to experience the Revenant?

I think I like the concept of the class and some of the animations and I want to make it my main compared to my engineer

However I am curious about a few things especially

1) Is a ranged build good for this class at leveling and/or end game (I mostly also play PVE as a ranged character but leveling yes, I can dabble a bit into melee a bit but I mostly prefer ranged.)
2) Is the Revenant good at healing / support? I mainly go with the healer/support role in most games I play but GW2 doesn’t have a dedicated support class as it does not support the usual trinity.

3) Any tips so I could level faster besides running around the world doing hearts?

i guess its too early to get some builds out yet hahaha

Hello I just returned to the game and bought the Heart of Thorns expansion to experience the Revenant profession, I was just wondering if there is a guild near my timezone that I can run with for leveling as I started from level 1 (currently level 10)

A guild that can hopefully help me until endgame, most guilds have already settled with their own teams already and I want a guild that can provide me sufficient knowledge and help within the game especially at endgame (I already have an 80 character and just ran dungeons with it )

I hope someone does reply as I find the game to be a bit boring when leveling PVE.

Hello there, a friend and I are going to start the game from scratch.

We were wondering what guilds in our timezone and plays on the Tarnished Coast server would be willing to accept us.
I would probably be running an Engineer and he would be a Thief (if that matters).
While we are from the Philippines we do however would like to know more about other guilds as long as it fits right into our timezone (GMT+8) and is an English speaking guild, willing to help new players get back into the game.
