So nevermind, Become the Master works just fine. If you follow the video guide from Dulfy.net, I missed the assassin that was in the pagoda, after you ring the bell. At the very top, before you hit the next checkpoint, you can see an assassin between the wall frame and the wall that you can’t destroy.

Become the master doesnt work if you use a continue coin. So make sure you have plenty of lives before you start zone 2.

Really not sure about the Become the Master achievement. Guildmate and I are following the video guide from Dulfy.net. We followed it pefectly with no achievement. The only thing I can think of, she listed the first pagoda as having 3 assassins. We encountered only 2? Kinda frustrating.

When the clock tower became available, I did my best to attempt this puzzle with my female norn, whom I had created to be as tall as possible. I took frequent breaks after an hour here and there on days. I then finally completed the puzzle Monday afternoon, and I will not lie, I sat there and cried (had so many close calls, and had even made it to the clock tower opening only to be brought back to the beginning). lol I was so freaking happy to be done with it. Then Tuesday, I decided to attempt it again on my fiance’s account, with his male human character. I did it after around 45min. An hour after that, I attempted it on my son’s account, male sylvari… and completed it on the 3rd attempt. Admittedly, this was crazy, insane difficult and I was worried that I would break my laptop. lol BUT, it was so much fun once I finally achieved it. And on a plus side, my hand/eye coordination just got crap tons better because of it… well maybe. lol

I agree. I was looking forward to seeing if fixes to the guild was part of the patch, but nope. I still lost 20 silver for 100 influence points that my guild still has not received. As well as other guild issues still.

Why have I been told to post in this particular forum when it seems like no one on the Anet team is responding or letting us know they hear us and are currently working on this?!

mllenpandora… I did what you said… going to another city.

I was in Divinitys, and just traveled to The Grove. I am able to change the permissions for ranks, message of the day, and upgrades, but that is it.

This is pretty annoying that I have to move to different places, spending money to travel just to be able to use features I shouldn’t have any problems doing in the first place.

Having several guild function issues:

1. Friday Sept 28th around 9:30pm central, I purchased a round of drinks that would give my guild 100 influence points from a Guild Promoter in Divinitys Reach. I spent 20 silver. My 20 silver was taken, but my guild did not receive the influence points that I purchased.

2. I am also co-leader of my guild, with all the perks of a leader. Even after checking to see if I was given any restrictions, which I wasn’t, and even though my guild has done all the necessary upgrades, I am being told that my guild has not built any storage yet (we just finished researching lvl 4 for architecture) AND I am being told that my rank does not allow me to display my guild emblem for armor.

3. Some of my guild members still cannot represent the guild.

4. During WvW, I was told that I do not have permission to claim forts, when I do have permission.

5. When trying to change the design of the guild emblem… I cannot make changes. I also, unless it’s not a feature, cannot change the background color for the guild banner.

6. I can no longer make changes to Message of the Day.

7. I cannot start building upgrades or stop it

8. I cannot edit the permissions of ranks.

I am also not the only person in my guild with these issues

Yes, I had the same issue when I logged into the game tonight. Didn’t want to take the copper, worrying that I may be implemented. Even tried to return to the sender with a message that email recipient not available.

I have a question in regards to buying drinks to promote your guild? I spent 20 silver to give my guild 100 influence points almost 3hrs ago. I don’t know if the keg was supposed to show up in my inventory so that I can double click it, or if it’s an automatic thing? Nothing is showing up in my guild history that I did this if it is automatic. And nothing showed up in my inventory. Or is this something that doesn’t show up in guild history till a few hours later? I guess if anything, I’m a little frustrated that I may have lost 20 silver for nothing. Thanks
