Here is how to fix it: a guardian should cast “Line of warding” (staff skill) on the mob.
I don’t know why but it works!
Found a guardian with a staff and it worked, thanks a lot!
No problems for me and charmed a few today as well.
I don’t want my pet to appear automatically at all. Please make it possible.
Spectral weapon skill point is also broken for me in Straits of devastation.

Skillpoint challenge is “Veteran risen spectral guard” in “Straits of devastation”.
It seems that it is impossible to interact with this mob.
