Guild Wars 2

Hi,

My friend and I are two ex-players returning to GW2 after over a year of not playing/playing only in short bursts. We’ve both been here more or less since launch.

We’re looking for a guild that can help us get back into the game through doing fractals and eventually start doing raids with. Both of us have full ascended trinkets and weapons, and we don’t mind putting in the time and effort into getting ascended armour too if necessary.

Other than in-game aspects, we’re also looking for a social bunch who don’t mind a bit of banter etc.

Who are we?

An Enigma are a recently re-formed English-speaking casual EU guild, looking for like-minded players to build a nice social family-like atmosphere. Our goal is to create a fun environment that you can have a laugh in but at the same time progress through whatever content you enjoy playing at your own pace. We also do not want to be one of those guilds with a ridiculous member count – we’re trying to build a small, fun and talkative community, not a huge guild where nobody knows anyone.

We are recruiting members from all corners of Guild Wars 2 – it doesn’t matter if you’re a new player just starting out, someone who’s just got to level 80 on their first character or someone who has a million gazillion level 80s. All that matters is you have a similar mindset to us.

If you’d like to join, you should check out our website and read through our rules to make sure we’re the right kind of guild for you. If you find that’s the case, then feel free to submit an application!

Please note that we are a recently reformed guild and so this means we are still in our rebuilding stages. If you’re looking for a well-established guild with a lot of members, then we aren’t for you.

Having the same issue with all of my transmuted items. I’d transmuted my Primeval gear onto Flame Legion stuff for zerker stats, but all the pieces have had their names changed :/

Just edited the main post to give a rough idea of where we are so far, and also to emphasise we’re a European guild (just so there isn’t any confusion with people with different playing hours from us applying, we don’t want people to feel alone within our guild).

History

An Enigma are a recently formed English-speaking guild based on the Far Shiverpeaks server. We initially started off as a small group of (primarily) real-world friends with the shared interest in playing Guild Wars 2.

After some time, the two founders (Alex and Shoaib) decided that they would like to start expanding the guild in order to help other players out with the game and in order to experience all of the content the game had to offer (not just what we could with five-player groups).

An Enigma So Far

Today, An Enigma are 20 members strong (which probably doesn’t sound like a lot, but we are trying to create a small sociable community) and are still actively recruiting We’ve began doing various content with guild members, such as dungeons and making groups for the world events. The majority of our members are Europe-based, but we do accept members from anywhere It’s just something to bear in mind when considering to apply, as our playing hours might differ significantly from yours.

Our Aim

Our guild aim is to progress through all the content Guild Wars 2 has to offer, without having the headaches of having to get a group full of randoms. We want to help new players enjoy the game as best they can and offer them a friendly social hub to progress at their own pace. After some time, we would like to start organising casual dungeon runs of the various instances Guild Wars 2 has.

What we don’t want is to put pressure on people to be active x days a week, or to participate in x events. Our guild is all about the community and having fun – we try our best to put no constraints on our members other than the minimum rules.

Who can join?

Anyone! As stated above, we are all about having fun. You can have fun in Guild Wars 2 regardless of your profession or level, and so we don’t need to put restrictions on our recruitment. That being said, we do have the minimum requirement of being able to speak English (and of course the guild rules listed on our application form).

Please remember that we are a newly formed guild, and as such we are still in the initial stages of recruitment. If you aren’t willing to start with a small guild and watch it prosper, then it is possible that we aren’t for you
