Going back to the beginning.

They originally were soul bound, one char use only. Later they were made account bound but you had to exchange between chars by going to the bank, unequipping them, putting them in the bank taking them out with another char and equipping them. Then the account bound slots came out. If you have them you can switch out through the slots. If not, you can leave them on a char or switch out between chars through the bank.

that’s what I was hoping for, I was planning on using the bank.

Anyway one says account bound, one says account bound with special slots… which is it?

So you need to buy acount bound slots for them to be useable?

I knew there was something fishy when the 1000 gem ones were labeled as account bound, but the pack was cheaper

Just wondering if their character bound or account bound.

Well, their unwillingness to slash the price for current game owners, has cost them a customer in me. Hopefully it means something to them, hopefully a mass exodus of the cash shop using player base is coming, and maybe that will make them see reason.

If they don’t plan to reduce price for owners of previous content, then I guess they just made my future purchasing questions easier, and lost a customer.

I understand Heart of thorns comes with the base game when you buy it off the website, but asking us to buy the game at such a price when we already HAVE the base game, seems to be asking a bit…much.

Is there a way to get a discounted price for those of us who already OWN guild wars 2, or some kind of value added to recognize we’re basically paying for something we already own, even by buying the “Standard” edition?

That’s kinda preventing me from purchasing at this point I don’t feel comfortable paying for what I already own.
