this is genuinely weak. any target >1 terrain levels higher than you can safely ignore one of your weapon abilities. only because the game engine can’t accommodate. not good.

Returning Player enjoying LW missions

Been away for a while but playing quite a bit the past month or so and really wanted to pass along appreciation for the Season 2 personal story missions to everyone responsible. There are some super fun encounters in there. I’ve been playing the World Summit battle just for the fun and challenge of it. Great place to tinker with builds and get a good test of your movement and awareness.

Anyway, thanks and well done.

Just want to make sure before I purchase it that the the Pack will make all the episodes available for all my characters. I assume it is, but I can handle being told it’s a stupid question just to make sure.

Everyone has had a couple near-kills with him. Those last few seconds as you approach zero on his health bar would be more dramatic if we could see more precisely how close we are to killing him. Let his health bar scale when below 25% so that we can see the effect of each attack as it comes in. Also make the countdown more obvious when inside 20 seconds or something.

There are a few fairly unforgiving mechanics in this fight that seem to be leading to discouragement among the fainthearted. Something that might help is the chance to practice when there isn’t so much going on. How about instead of the explosive fish everywhere before Teq appears:

- (10-15 mins before he appears) start randomly spawning waves for people to practice jumping
- let a bloated creeper or two walk up out of the sea for people to attack while jump/dodging waves
- pop a few fingers here and there

Not sure if this would help, but the thought occurred so I am offering it. Love the encounter, and thanks to the team that put so much effort into it already. Already looking forward to more complex encounters.

Check the strength of the veteran level mobs at the fort trinity event “Defend the Pact Megalasers”. They hit like champions.

Has Guild Wars 2 been worth your $60.00?

Well worth the 60 bucks, no doubt. I have 3 80s running around, and am still continually amazed at the size of each PVE zone and the sheer amount of stuff going on in each one. Plus the combat is just intensely fun, and you guys really delivered an experience that captures the spirit of open world coop play (whether you’re in PVE or PVP).
