Lol matchup threads prior to your entering the tier were also very civil. Things were good when it was just BG/KN/TC… Now…

Yeah and then the big bad boogeyman FA came and ruined your fun. Whine and complain all you want but its a two sided trollfest so either troll, sit back and watch, or go get on private forums to complain how bad the other server is about trolling. I think I covered all bases??

Obviously Whitebeard wasn’t around for FA taking most of TC and KN borderlands this morning. Gained a good 5K lead over KN and set back both server’s upgraded keeps. Love us or hate us FA is here to stay.

I don’t think GvG can happen with FA/TC simply because of the level of mutual antagonism and vitriol. For GvG to happen there has to at least be a small level of mutual respect/trust and repeated efforts to try to establish this has failed.

Maguuma and almost any server will do gvg and fight clubs no matter what level of forum trolling goes on. That’s not really a reasonable excuse. People generally will be fair except for those sneaky [awe] guys and their trebs in gvg

If there’s no respect, there’s no trust. If there’s no trust, there’s less inclination to do anything that requires cooperation like GvG. Because there’s no trust, there’s no guarantee that a 5v5 would be honoured without some big gank squad swooping in and voiding the agreement. And given TC/FA history that just keeps perpetuating itself, it’s completely reasonable. But I don’t speak for the big guilds. This is just my observation.

That’s why you have someone record it. Hard to argue with video evidence. BT is more than willing to have a fair, friendly GvG with any guild willing. So far our requests are met with silence or excuses and that makes us sad pandas.

Then help change this toxic climate we have here. Stomp your trolls, we will stomp ours.

Our history doesn’t have to be permanent. But it’s limiting so much more that could happen, I think. At least for some.

Kain will thank us for it. I feel badly that they have to put up with this same garbage, week after week.

You know, after reading the thread I noticed something really funny. For as much guff TC has given FA over the weeks for being trolls and aggressive, TC actually started off the trolling this week. FA was being courteous and even poking fun. But I guess that doesn’t matter because it’s all FA’s fault right??

Well regardless of FA’s much better score ratio in comparison to last, I think this just shows what kind of a server we are. We had a strong weekend last week and wavered a bit but even after that we came back the likes of which TC was genuinely worried about FA getting 2nd place near the end. This week we not only came back strong and ready to fight, but we are also really taking the fight to everyone. So blame it on spring break, call FA a bunch of school kids or college drunkards. In the end we will have our fun and if we beat some TC down in the process the better.

I think it’s rather funny how every time we face FA, the excuses for why they don’t win start rolling within a day or two of reset. Excuses always begin with “They’re 2v1 us”… then people point out that TC also has control of the 3rd servers territory… and are attacking the 3rd servers SMC.

Then excuses move to guilds transferring to TC. Then people point out that only a few medium sized WvW guilds have transferred here since release, while one of our largest WvW guilds has left. Meanwhile FA has had 4 just last week transfer… from a Tier 1 server.

Inevitably the blame shifts to saying we have more numbers… but as proven by Kaineng, we have very little players outside of NA. Sure we have some, but not nearly enough to compete with the likes of the Oceanics from Kaineng, or any of the Tier 1 servers.

Ultimately this then brings about name calling… calling us roleplayers and saying that we are bad in the open field… when to be honest, our guild has rarely lost a fight in open field against FA. Are we going to say it never happens? No, but we win far more fights in the open field than we lose, and I think there are several guilds that can say the same thing.

Bottom line… TC finds a way to win. Whether through better organization, better tactics… or hell, maybe we just roleplay better and that’s the tipping point.

Whatever the reason, in every week that TC has battled, we’ve gone up against some of the best servers and have had nothing but compliments from the likes of Kaineng, Blackgate, Sanctum or Rall, Sea of Sorrows, Dragonbrand and Maguuma. The only server who we seem to constantly see excuses coming from?

Well, I think everyone can see the pattern from FA.

It’s really a shame that some take this game so personally and get upset. It’s one of the strong traits of Tarnished Coast. We used to get our kitten handed to us… and instead of trash talking on the forums, or making us excuses, we looked at why we died and learned from it. We’ve had our kitten handed to us by the likes of Blackgate, SoS, SoR, etc… we didn’t trash talk (Ask them if you want)… we came back fighting and got better each time.

Hopefully we’ll see less of the trash talking/excuse making from FA next week and more of this ‘superior open field fighting’.

Kaineng, it’s been a pleasure to fight you guys this week. We hope that you’re enjoying it as much as we are.

I think its funny that the “friendly” server that keeps calling FA trolls and losers don’t hesitate to stoop to that level. That being said I also have to laugh to myself that while FA was ahead by upwards of 10K points earlier in the week TC was humble in defeat and once they started to get ahead by a great push on tuesday the humble turned into the chest thumping trolls not too long after complaining FA is like that. TC has done great this week as has FA each server has its pros and cons but if yall are going to be doing your “tarnished tuesdays” every week I think your employers and teachers are going to start wondering where yall are :P. Oh and thank you Kaineng for sitting back and watching the sparks fly I’m sure it is quite enjoyable for yall.

All those IoJ and SoS guilds? Really? We got 2 SoS guilds and maybe 3 IoJ guilds all of which adding a total of maybe 50 active WvWers in different time zones. FA isn’t this huge bandwagon of a server that people have claimed it to be, all of tier 2 has had some sort of influx of people due to their skills which is why its such a close match. You may be “Jesting” but you really aren’t doing your server any favors by your posts.

You received 4 SoS guilds just last week (2 of which were over 200 members) and those are only the ones we know of. And you got a lot more than 3 IoJ guilds, lemme look for the list. I’m not sure why FA continuously tries to deny that they keep convincing guilds to come to their server. First, it isn’t true. Secondly, I’m pretty sure all of us are jealous. So far TC can only get guilds from CD. DIS (long time ago), KH and CYN all came from CD and that is just about all of the transfers TC has ever recieved.

Next time read the part where I said 50 ACTIVE WvWers. My guild has 150 members but only run 20 deep in WvW. See how effective a 150 man guild can be in WvW?

Good. Your hate and disgust gives me the fuel to slaughter more FA. I remember the days of FA ruining get togethers involving tonics and yaks. Join FA? pfft. I dont know why anyone would join such a server. Hate you enemy. Loathe your enemy. Plant flags on them as you pin them into the blood stained ground, and trod over them. Pfft. I remember FA doing WvW in a WvW to a bunch of players running around as dolyaks. I also remember the first event ended up to those QQing and double teaming a whole server based on the actions of a few. Then the next time the event happened the event goers wouldn’t allow any FA and already were planning to try to double team them immediately afterwards regardless, I would know I was in the guild during the event. So you can go and cry saying how bad FA is but before you do that go ahead and look in a mirror.

-when facing BG and u guys It happened quite often that we were inside a BG keep trying to get inner gate down, when TC showed up, wiped us and left, not even trying to take bg’s keep…

I remember many of those times. We would come in, kill FA and then leave the keep for BG because we wanted them to remain a presence in that BG so we could maximize our PPT against FA. That is called strategy, because as you guys have already pointed out TC plays to maximize PPT.

Really? I always was told 2nd place is just the first loser. I think the competition is fun but can’t we all just go out and beat down TC like good WvWers and quit arguing which is worse 2nd or 3th. They both aren’t first.

You guys are clearly so much better than TC at PVP its why during every NA prime-time you guys lose ground to us in overall score, PPT and structures. Its why all the hard work that your IoJ guilds do in oceanic time are erased. Don’t be delusional. You are in T2 because you are carried by your oceanic. Your NA has beaten us once during primetime and that was on the Saturday this week, we beat you on reset, on Sunday, on Monday and o boy did we beat you yesterday.

Have a little class. Yes, we’re (Tc) better at WvW at this point… Let him maintain his point of view, and let the battlefield show him your point of view. TC is supposed to be known for hte great community and really decent people. Please don’t make strides to ruin that image for the rest of us.

Well its been a great match up so far but to all the TC naysayers and chest thumping don’t forget it wasn’t but two days ago we were ahead by 10K. If anything FA is more inspired than ever. Get ready for some intense battles these next two days.
