Guild Wars 2

Hi guys,

Decided to get back into GW2 as I have some more free time coming up. I haven’t played in almost 3 years. I have 6 lvl80 characters with my guardian being my main. He has 3 legendary weapons and great gear at the time of leaving. Can anyone give me any info to help me get back in the game and fill in the gap. What do people do now? How has the skills changed? Personal story? Right now I do not have plans to get the expansion unless it goes on sale. Thanks!

Started getting this problem today, been playing for a year without a problem, whats going on Anet?

Today when I logged into the game I received a message saying that my account cannot log into the log in server. The message just keeps popping up and every time I switch a zone, but it doesn’t prevent me from logging into the game. Also I appear as offline to everyone, I can message people and I can talk in chat, both general/guild/etc but I still show up as offline. Has anyone else gotten this before? I literally was in game 5-6 hours ago and was fine and have been playing almost a year without this ever happening. Please help

I gather often everyday or other day and since the last patch nodes have changed. Before the patch nodes proced so you could get 2 or 3 or even 4 gathers from one node. Since the patch I have not had one node that proced to get even 2 gathers from one node. I checked the notes but didn’t see anything about changes to nodes, can anyone shed some light on this, thanks

Its just getting stupid, im at 1441 fractal relics and my static is up to rank 17 and i have yet to get a piece of gear or even a vile, not one. its getting harder and harder, im pretty lucky since im a tanky warrior, but the flame boss at the volcano instance is rapping me and the other member of my static who hasn’t gotten a single piece yet, like rng needs to be fixed seriously…

Hi guys,

Im looking for some advice since im relatively still a newer player. Ive been playing for 3ish weeks and I have been loving my warrior. I have tried the glass cannon greatsword and duel axe builds and recently ive switched to a full tough/vit build with ac armor and hammer. Ive not loved the dps obviously but the survivability has been very nice.

What I wanted to ask is if any1 has tried a hybrid build. I love the greatsword, especially with fractals out now i want to up my dps. I was thinking of running full ac gear with ac greatsword and then specing my traits from vit/tough to a mix of pwr/tough/prec to up my dps while still keeping some survivability. what are your thoughts and thanks.
