I remember using Skype or at least voice chatting in general to play LOL years back. quite miss it. messing around. it was quite a great way to relieve stress.
point is lol im looking for a guild.
I’m 21 (been gaming since runescape went into open beta)
I work 40+ hrs a week(recently promoted) so I cant be expected for certain events
I usually pve(working on world completion right now). i don’t mind pvp though. but i’m not a elitist about it.
IGN: Azra Yuzuki- 80 MM Necromancer.
I like anything dealing with necromancy, reapers and death
oh that’s right. i have a mic o.0… new ps3 headset i got y..yesterday? anyways i use Skype. teamspeak. any chatting software i can probably get. New to teamspeak though.

they wont. from the looks of it they plan to keep it at the
i bought it for 60 dollers and i will only get the content that i started with.
i would say differently but all their living story’s get deleted when a new one comes out. I don’t even know how to current story’s cause the previous one got deleted. like how i would love to play them my self.
as said in the title. what if we were given the developer tools? seems everyone has something they would prefer to change in gw2. i personally like the way ever quest next is allowing the fans to build the games content. sure not everyone is going to get their stuff into ever quest but least it’s an option.
point is. what is the worst that could happen if anet gave us tools to help build their game. i can only guess but … 30-50 devs working on the game? maybe more but if we have at least 50k players on a day and those who enjoy making games i don’t see why they cant work with a limited type of dev tool.
it would be like – make it -> send it to anet to review it -> test it on a beta server -> publish it.
i honestly think content would come out faster.
a couple of things id like to help build are.
new race
new class
new maps
new quests
new skills
new weapons
and the only reward i expect is that the most voted player created content to be published later in months to come.
so far off the top of my head with those who do this the best (in the following order)
league of legends – beta server. players don’t make the content but they help test the new champions coming out and it REALLY speeds the release on content and testing current champion bug fixes.
ever quest next/landmark – the devs heavily speak on player made content and some of the screen shots showing some funky buildings. they look legit as they could all be in the game if it fit the lore. the full game isnt even released yet but there is already cool things being made. This game really try to listen to their player base.
sorry for the grammar ( i was eating dinner) and as sad as i can say this. i dont have much hope for this to be true. i would assume it costs a lot of money to make this happen. sure the rewards could be great but it could also come with heavy risks(idk what they would be)
maybe next year.
i guess in your case. due to the heavy armor of warriors and guardians and both of them have heavy aoe skills. they pretty much face roll the game.
i play a necromancer and although im not tanky. my pet gives me cosistant regen. as long as i keep it alive.
i will agree that when i played theif, and elementalists. they were squishy and required more skill in the extreme early levels. i just moved to other starting zones and quested.
There’s a LOT that you can do with skill points, not just learning skills. :P You can use them to craft weapons, use them for your legendary, etc.
The world completion also gives you a necessary component for your legendary weapon.
legendaries are interesting but i havnt looked that much into it. the only thing i noticed is that there isnt an interesting staff legendary for necromancers.
by the way Im using full carrion exatled exotic gear. same with rings and accessories.
I love the game. i definitely got my moneys worth of the game. But there is a certain aspect to a common mmorpg i miss a bit.
i don’t mind hitting levels at a consistent rate. but i hit 80 before i entered a 50+ zone. so then the question hit me.
What is the point of world completion when all the exp you get when you hit 80 is un rewarded?
my completion is at 43% as of today. I remember when i woke up in the morning. i thought about how i would gain a few levels today and gain more trait points and skill points. But now… what do i unlock? i have all the skills. im already traited in what i intended to become.
regardless i will still try to hit 100% on ONE character. then play all the other classes to 80 and try to finish their stories of the races.
maybe by then anet will make leveling slightly slower.. like .01% each level. Maybe then i wont have to see level 1-15 zones being possible to 1 to 80 ( its slow but its possible). i really want to see anet guide us into going into higher level zones.
i second this +1
It has been largely over used. And seen in quite a few games but is anyone against the idea of killing the elder dragons minions? IE the Risen, the corrupted and etc?
i was thinking of a " A small group of 5 set out to explore a new Island of Tyria"
You guys find a small keep still in somewhat of a good shape. Inside is a large _ artifact and some NPC in Rata sum or the prioy would love to study it. The keeps gate rumble and waves upon waves of risen keep comming to attack fresh meat.
objective:
Defend against increasingly larger and larger waves of Risen.
Win: All waves cleared
Lose: all group members are executed.
Easy mode: Daylight: minimal amount of waves.
Hard mode: Sunset : an Ok amount of waves.
Night Mare mode: Night : large amount of waves.
THEN THERE IS THE EPIC:
End of Tyria mode: Rotating Day cycle with each wave. Waves = Infinity.
The story behind the end of Tyria: The elder dragons minions have won and you 5 are the last standing in the world. You’re going to die so might as well die with honor and die fighting.
There is more to the modes like repairing parts of the keep. a score and rewards etc. but this is the gist of it.
it has probably been said but i bump this as i support this suggestion.
I see my character gaining numbers (levels) but they don’t make me feel more powerful. The problem is that I am downgraded to the level of the area I am currently in.
Being level 20 and almost dying to two level 9 mobs is a terrible feeling. What is the point in leveling if all that work is negated by zone mechanics?
There are two options that would make the experience feel better.
1. Don’t downgrade my level and allow me to one-shot lower level mobs. In this way, I would actually feel more powerful as I leveled and would feel like my work is being rewarded.
or
2. Remove levels and leveling altogether. Don’t allow me to see that meaningless number that taunts me with every pull. I would rather not see any level number on my character at all than to see the green ‘down’ arrow next to an artificially deflated number.
1. at level 5 with level 0 gear, dmg something thats level 2. then at level 80 with your level downgraded to level 5 with level 80 gear, dmg something level 2. tell me you see a difference. sure you deal less dmg but its better then the actual level the content requires you to be.
2. remove levels? then why play gw2? what is the point when you don’t PROGRESS. what do you hope to achieve when playing a game when you don’t gain anything for questing.
I don’t think it would be too heavy for a necro to weild. Any more than a greatsword is too heavy for a Mesmer to weild. because the metal in the axe is isolated to the head so it would actually be lighter than a greatsword. So there is less metal in the head which takes a less heavy material in it’s handle to produce a balanced weapon.
i guess that makes more sence. it makes me wonder if they make scythes….
I support this. Two handed axe would be awesome. escecially for a necro.
i don’t think a necro could use a 2h axe. in theory there is more metal in 1 area then a balanced amount in a greatsword and would plainly be to heavy for a necro to wield. BUT i support this. with a pistol / rife . i honesty don’t see why this wasn’t in the game in the first place xD
this is just an assumption but i assume a new threat would arise. like a new elder dragon or one that is currently dormant in the north where we don’t have access. im sure we it will get added into our story and will probably be like. “mail” … requesting your presence in xxx location on a serious matter that needs investigation.
i never played gw1 but the idea of having an army is quite appealing. i currently don’t mind the Death Shroud since i use (4) for healing my minions and doing auto target aoe dmg. i guess the only issue i had was with necro’s and pretty much every class is skill animation. we have little skills yet they are not flashy. except the ele’s meteor. in regards to the necro. i just want more animations. i was thinking making the marks have the animations the wells have or something similar. it being a white circle with a icon in the middle isn’t really interesting. seeing as i spam marks all day.
i also must add. the wurm we use. it honestly should move…. nothing wrong with burrowing into the ground and popping out to deal some dmg. im completly fine if its nerfed in dmg. but the teleport and poison part stays.
Edit: regardless im somewhat content with the way necro is. minons have becomes summoned monsters and require your Marks or Death Shroud to keep alive. i just kinda wish there were more types of monsters to summon. each doing something different.

i think i may need to look up a video on it. from what i’ve noticed i think minions have a slight delay before they auto attack. but im a staff Mm and i generally have to cast 1 ( those flying claws) first to get all my minions to start attacking.
Edit: i just realized that some peoples computers may be different and that many AI controlled minions may be to much for their computer.
