BG’er here. This is the closest matchup of any of the tiers currently.

Bravo to SBi for kicking it into high gear. It’s been a good week of fights despite all the stupid forum drama from ALL sides. Yes…ALL sides.

Blackgater here for about 2 months now. I’m liking where our server currently is. What you are seeing this week is a combination of Blackgate getting stronger and HoD / ET disintegration. These two servers has had their wvw base leave them. Simply put, they do not belong in tier 2-5, maybe even lower.

Honestly, the queue times are not bad on BG. You may have a decent queue time for EB in an even match but thats expected. All of the higher tier servers have this.

I really am getting tired of these doom and gloom threads about Blackgate. I personally welcome our new comrades to Blackgate. If they choose to leave in a couple of weeks that is fine too, I am pretty confident that the original BG community is here to stay. This is why BG is different from the previous HoD and ET. BG isn’t made of these mega alliances that we saw on those servers. BG is made of several smaller wvw guilds that have banded together to do well in WVW. So you won’t have the same massive falling out that you had there, if it ever comes to that.

The taunting is just part of being on the internet. You will see this in any game you play. Like Mog said before me, it’s not one particular server. All servers have people who will do it. Sometimes my body gets death danced upon. It doesn’t bother me even the slightest. I actually chuckle when I see people use their emotes. Again, it’s part of it.

Just wanted to add something about our (BG) queue times. I have rarely had to wait on any of the borderlands, and if I do it’s only for 10-20 minutes. I usually only have to wait to get into EBG. We aren’t as jammed packed as you might think.

Overall this has been an enjoyable matchup. Even though SBi seems to have better all around coverage, the battles themselves have been great fun between all three servers.

We at Blackgate are a scrappy bunch. We may not have the best organization or 24/7 coverage, but we try to make a showing.

I don’t want Kaide back in BG. All he did was troll team chat and cause comotion. Kaide, please stay at Dragonbrand.

I’ve enjoyed this matchup so far. There has been alot of back and forth action all week.

I never used this skill because I didn’t know it lasted 10 seconds in the first place. This is a problem with tooltips. In game it reads “Wrathful Spirit – Aegis gives retaliation when it ends.”

Not very descriptive at all. This is a problem with alot of the skills in this game.

Anyway, I still won’t be using it after this nerf. There are more useful traits for this slot.
