I got a copy paste answer too this morning about the September 21st, I was about to send an angry reply, BUT when I saw Shunkan`s message here I decided to log in first and see if I find a mail. AND OMG THERE WERE MY ITEMS!!! YAY I missed the Rytlock mini so much!
Only thing I can think of is that there was a delay in the ingame mails or something.
Either way, don`t give up hope guys.

I posted this in the Collector’s Ed/DDE Item Questions thread (twice), but since that one seems to recieve no official reply, I`ll try to repost it here.
I got a reply on my ticket yesterday, claiming that they replaced my accidently deleted items (mini, chalice, tome) on friday. It is not true! I haven`t gotten any mail. I`ve been waiting for a replacement since the first day of headstart. I didn`t mind to wait in the beginning, but now I`m starting to become more and more dissappointed with each day passing by and not getting a decent and topic related answer from the support team.
Original ticket: 120825-010443 Closed by me when told to wait for a fix 08/25/2012
Second ticket: 120914-002059 Updated 09/14/2012
There are many of us with this problem (getting a reply claiming we got our items replaced while in fact this never happened)
What is going on?
EDIT: 120914-002059 got solved this morning. Got my CE items resent. Thank you.

I got a reply not so long ago aswell, claiming that they replaced my items on friday. It is not true! I haven`t gotten any mail. It seems the persons who reply to my ticket don`t even read the communication history. And where do they even get the info that the items were replaced when they weren`t?.

The same happened to me just now. NPC`s won`t follow me, therefore I can`t get out of the cave (iirc a charr headbutts down the baricade). I also got a constant “This content has been temporarly disabled. please try again later” message.
I`m a bit sad to see this quest bugged because it worked when I did it on my first character.

First ticket (120825-010443) was sent 08/25/2012, I was told to check out the forum for fix so I closed it. (This might have been a mistake)
Second ticket (120914-002059) was sent 09/14/2012 after I had read on the forum that some players got their items replaced. This ticket only got a totally unrelated answer (about guilds -.-), after that it was marked Awaiting Approval. It has been 9 days and this ticket has never gotten a proper reply, I don`t even know what is going on with it. I tried to update it yesterday.

I too made the unfortunate mistake of accidently deleting my Rytlock mini, Tome of Influence and Chalice of Glory on the first day of headstart.
I sent in a ticket 08/25/2012 Ref. number 120825-010443 to ask for help. Chris from the Support Team answered me saying that there would be a fix in the future and that I should keep an eye on the forums. So I closed the ticket and I was waiting patiently for a fix. I`ve been checking the forums regulary these past few weeks and a few days ago I saw that there is a second distribution available for those that accidently deleted their items. So I sent in another ticket.
09/14/2012 (so a week ago) Ref. number 120914-002059
Strangely I got an answer about guild problems. o.O I updated the ticket. For now it has the status Awaiting approval. Am I in queue now for a second distribution or is this approval about something else?Thank you in advance
When you say a second distribution, did you already get a set of replacement items?
The “awaiting approval” indicates you’re in the queue for replacements. There’s more information in my latest update in the CE/DDE thread. (And you can add 120914-002059 to that thread, if you wish.)

No, I didn`t get a set of replacement items. In my head I counted the the original ingame mail the first “distribution”.
I checked out the CE/DDE thread and I saw your newest post about the devs coming up with the solution and the codes etc. So I`ll just wait a few days more and see what happens.
