With the upcoming content update in april regarding trait reseting anywhere, why not add a trait preset option.. would really make the whole system a lot more useful for players who use multiple builds like myself. Lots of people have WvW/PvE and World boss builds and having an option to quickly select a trait preset with the click of a button would make the system a lot more useful, of course i love the idea of being able to re-trait anywhere but having that option would make the system much more enjoyable and less of a hassle to go though in the middle of a dungeon/event. Thoughts?

I really do hope they add this, if they don’t.. I might be swapping out traits more then actually playing the game.

Really didn’t want to turn this topic into a parts debate.. just simply showing that a low power, low cost system can achieve great performance in games like gw2.

Athlon x4 750k for that price is really good. but GTX 750 ti is not good P/P … 7790 or 7850 or even 7870 have better P/P

A 750ti is just behind a 7850, and the cheapest 7850 worth getting is $185 atm. For $150-160, a 750ti isn’t really a bad deal at all, especially from EVGA.

fermi – he had APU FM2 – so Athlon x4

A specific circumstance. For anyone else, the 6300 is going to be much better.

750Ti also has a 60W TDP.. sooo… I also got the memory for 45 on sale which was a steal, as far as the 6300 goes i agree, if i had an AM3 mobo i would have gone with that, but the 750k seems to be doing good enough for now… somewhere down the line ill upgrade to something new when amd comes out with a new lineup.

Odd you aren’t running with hires character textures in that setup. The card has 2GB and it barely goes over 1GB when I have textures on hires.

having character models on high didn’t effect the fps when i tested it but I didn’t bother having it enabled for the screenshot.. Cpu is clocked at 4.1ghz from a 3.6 stock.. small but defiantly helps, easily done with bios overclocking features.

Just wanted to make a quick post tonight on a recent build that i did specifically for Guildwars2. I came from running this system using and old A6 Apu, hence the FM2 Motherboard used, But recently upgraded to the new 750Ti and a moderately cheap quad-core 750k cpu, Yes i know 750/750.. i even have a k750 keyboard from logitech.. very ironic, but aside from that it’s been a pleasure to game on.. I’m able to run on highest settings (near highest minus high-res character textures option) With great frame rates in leveling zones/small group dungeons. The whole system altogether cost just under $500 with a few rebates and sales offers on Newegg when i bought some of the parts. I’ve been seeing a lot of people on the forums having trouble getting their system to run good frame rates for what they have and/or looking to upgrade to something that can achieve playable frame rates at good high graphics. Below are some screenshots of the fps i get in lornar’s pass and a link to the pc part picker of my system. Remember, this is a budget system and it might not seem like amazing performance to some people.. but for what i paid for it, i think it was well worth it… the 750ti is a beast.
