Today is guild missions day in EoL! If you catch me ingame and pass the pre-talk it might be good opportunity to meet some new guildies there!

Hello lonely people, we are opening our doors once again!
But: We are mainly looking for some more raid interested players who would like to attend our raid trainings on sundays and (later) are interested in ‘advanced raids’ on wednesday evenings.
All with a nice and friendly attitude of course!

Hey there!

Are you feeling lonely? Maybe we can help improving your loneliness! EoL – Evolution of Loneliness – is searching for a few more like-minded players.

What are we?
- A smaller guild (roster size around 100 and some ~60 being active at least weekly) with focus on being social – and we want to keep it like this. Means we are not going to recruit 20 new people on a single day with noone knowing nobody anymore
- We are nice and friendly and every recruit is expected to be so too. You won’t see us raging in some map chat or stuff, you’d rather discover one of us running for a rezz although it might end with the death of both.
- Everyone in EoL does what he wants – and sometimes together. We have no pressure at all and we don’t want to dictate you how/when to play the game. We have a few regular events which you can join or not, but most action is initiated out of the guild chat.
- We have both veteran and newbie players, we really don’t care about your skill level as long as you’re nice company We live a laid-back casual attitude, which doesn’t mean that some members aren’t interested in/doing higher content like high fractals or raids.

Although we want to keep it small, we are searching for a few more like-minded players to join us and give each other more possible guildies to play with. Right now we usually have around 10-15 ppl online in prime times, my wish is to slowly raise that up to around 20 people online (even in summer). After that we will quit recruiting unless the count falls again.

How do you apply?
Preferably catch me ingame or send me an ingame mail. I will also check the forums here. You do not need to fill out some application form or stuff. We will have a little chat where we can both try to find out if EoL can meet your expectations and you might be like-minded, fitting to the rest of our little community. If we like each other and wanna try it, you’ll get an invite then

Our (full guild) raid training group has beaten Vale Guardian last sunday, yeehaw! \o/

Today we have an event called ‘Fractal Lessons’ for unexperienced guildies to help them get started

I totally agree with TexZero. In my casual guild I am running some raid trainings and we are usually doing the escort encounter for some easy rewards and after that train on Vale Guardian. Depending on the previous existing knowledge of the people we kill it or not, but it is really good ‘raid training’.

Okay, enough singing
Due to heave RL schedule I can’t commit to the harsh rules most raid guilds have. I am searching for a guild which doesn’t force me to be online at set times, cause I simply can’t promise that. I’d like a group where members can freely decide to join into raids or not, that would be awesome, but I know it’s hard to find
If your group would be able to clear 2 wings of raid1 and still have fun together while doing that would be nice . Won’t say no to a full clear, but well, Matt can be a insert favourite scolding here and Xera too

About me:
- GW2 player since release, friendly type of player, likes to learn from more experienced players and help less experienced players than myself.
- Was in 2 raid guilds before, both disbanded
- Running an own (casual attitude) guild, so can only represent while raiding with you, but would prefer no rep duty (getting better the more far you read, riiight).
- Experience in Raid1 but only got very few shots at Xera and Raid 2 (maaan, isn’t the first boss annyoing???).
- Play druid (magi or condi), condi ranger, PS war (no condi gear), Dragonhunter, working on a (non-tank) chrono, can start something else if you are specifically lacking something.
- For those who like the numbers: 18.6k AP, 212 LI

So, let’s see if someone thinks there could be a spot for me. You can send me a mail here or ingame, whisper me or even send a pigeon if that’s your preferred way of communication, I will look out for it

Today’s evening is our weekly guild mission, wouldn’t it be nice to already meet some new guildies there?

We are not too far away from our desired size now – still not there, so our recruitment status changed to OPEN again
We also introduced a few more regular events you can join if you want. How about fractal lessons on tuesdays or pvp fun on fridays?

We got quite some recruits recently, so I gonna call out our recruitment status to be closed currently.

just a quick thought which might give you some inspiration. I don’t know that Mithaniel Marr character and found different pictures on the internet, but he appears to have some kind of ‘knight style’, probably with more simplistic armor than gw has to offer
The first picture includes the pants of the primeeval armor set, if you don’t have that one you maybe wanna try the pants on second picture. It’s all heavy armor.
Head: Council Guard Helm (from Caudecus dungeon)
Shoulders: Splint Pauldrons (TP)
Chest: Carapace Breastplate (Silverwastes)
Hands: Splint Gauntlets (TP)
Legs: Primeval Legplates (Gemstore armor set) or Ascalonion Protector Legguards (human cultural armor)
Boots: Protector’s Footgear (human cultural armor)

Hello everyone,

raids are great group content, aren’t they? Unfortunately not everyone has the possiblity to get into raids because either their guild is not active in that area and/or groups don’t accept newer players. I am trying to change that for my guildies in EoL.

I am currently trying to establish a raid training event series where guildies not familiar with raids (or wanting to try other classes/roles first time) can join and try them out in a friendly chilled atmosphere. Of course with the right attitude, you can’t expect a kill in a group full of new raiders
Now and then we need few more people to fill up the group and that’s why I created this thread.

Requirements:
- First of all: Be friendly, nice and patient and want to learn the encounter. Have a relaxed attitude without bringing in pressure to the group.
- Have read the Vale Guardian basic mechanics (there are a lot of guides, check dulfy or google) or watch a youtube about it.
- Have basic knowledge about your class, equipped in minimum full exotic gear and with an appropiate build (check http://metabattle.com/wiki/Raid for your class).

That’s all. Let’s have some raiding fun!
