I was thinking about getting gems, what do you guys get gems for? I don’t think gems are worthless but I don’t know what id really be after if I got some. a miniature seems nice or even a costume…

I didn’t get to watch the stream for the new “Update” for the classes I see theres a lot of topics about it but I don’t understand could somebody explain to me whats going to happen to the ele. I don’t understand the trait system yet or what the major changes will be for the elementalists play style I really appreciate the help. I just wanna understand and be prepared for the update. Thank you~
The short answer is try different things out. The all of the “meta” builds require Grandmaster traits to function properly. Focus on armor with Power and a splash of Toughness, Vitality, and Precision. Try Signet of Air for mobility and Glyph of Lesser Elementals (in Earth) for a pocket tank.

I was really hoping for a d/d build is the d/d ele not good for pve?
Not to complain but when I look around YouTube for Ele D/D builds their all PvP or WvW builds, I just would like a simple PvE build, kind of nervous to do PvP or WvW because I wouldn’t know where to start at the moment I’m only a lvl 19, I’m kind of a noob with gearing and a bit of help would be appreciated! Oh so races don’t really matter that much? mmm ok well thanks for your info I think I know what I wanna do now I may stick around PvE for my first character I never really liked PvP much I could try it but yeah not a huge fan
Hello AnimeChan here, I’m looking for a good class for the Aura are there any recommendations?
I was thinking about a necromancer, engineer or guardian. I’m a noob in GW2, looking for friends and such so I really wanna start off strong so I don’t regret my choices later. Any tips would help me out, thanks a million~
P.S What are the differences between “The Three Asuran Colleges” I’m still installing the game so I don’t know much other then from forums.
