Hi, I’ve enjoyed playing with [JUGS]. They’re a well established and mature guild. Nice helpful folks. There are players on most times of the day but especially evenings EST. They do all PVE content and are very into fractals!. There are daily scheduled events such as dungeon or fractal runs. They use Teamspeak for communication. Check out the website. http://jugs-guild.com
Hi Downhill! I’m also >60 and retired and been playing ~5 yrs.
PUGS on Jade Quarry is a mature guild but not exclusive and has open membership . My guild [DAWG]-‘Denies Age With Gaming’ is 4 members only and really just a guild bank for storage.
Its generally interesting when someone on a map makes reference to age and you see how many older players are out there.
Good luck. I generally stay fairly quiet because of the age disparity!
thanks and yeah, i just found Anets answer to this question— https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/hot/Do-we-HAVE-TO-buy-it
oh well..
hi-so will HoT upgrade apply to multiple accounts on the same computer?
and how will the ‘extras’ on the Deluxe and Ultimate package affect multiple accounts? (will each account get the char slots, gems, skins etc?
Thanks everyone!
hi-is there any Guild activity during EDT daytime hours? I liked your mission statement but wonder if anyone is one when I am- 10am-3pm EDT on weekday (I have a weird work schedule) I’m a WvWer and sometimes PVE player on TC. Thanks Folks
confused. I looked over the website and see no mention of Guild Wars2 groups. What world is this Guild doing wvw in?
Hi: I’ve just installed windows on my Mac for a new GW installation (because of problems with the recent patch) and now I can’t use my mouse to control toon movement.
Formerly, toon movement direction was controlled by camera direction+left mouse button. Now, only the right mouse button does this. I would like to reset this to the way it was (left mouse button controls toon direction) How do I do this? I see no GW control panel option and my windows control panel doesn’t seem to assign L/R buttons either. Ideas?
ahh, Fox, I misspoke, my MacBook Pro is 3 or so years old. I’ve owned the small Powerbook 1400 series and its predecessors too.
And, yeah, Nageth, I guess it makes total sense to simply partition the drive for Windows. ( just have to learn how to do that…)
I’m using a 17" 3yr old PowerBook, runs 10.6.8, 2.66gHz single core chip which runs the game with low rez graphics fine except for large group WvW, some dungeons and large group PVE events. Then, it totally lags and hard to move/play.
So, would it run much better on the new Mac Powerbook, dual or quad core etc or do I need a PC keep up with the high demand situations? Thanks, all!
I’ve tried the same situations, Caudecus boss in my home server HoD and at TC, same time, afternoon, multiple days with the same results. I can tank the home server boss and I die when guesting.
Hi, not sure if this is the proper forum but I’ve found when I guest and do dungeons in Tarnished Coast, I seem to take twice as much damage as I normally would, and die in situations I’ve never had problems with. Other players reported my toon was ‘dropping frames’ and skipping around. So, you folks this this is a problem with guesting or a busy server? Playing on a Mac Powerbook, bout 3 years old thanks.
