Yep, I mostly just roaming solo and sometime with a small group of 4-5 friends. It’s can be hard something because i’m on Blackgate, so they’re alot of zerg group running around on the other server, like JQ and SOR.

Is this in WvW? If it is, then you might have points into the guard defense line. If you put enough points into that line it gives you retaliation if you dodge/mitigate any attacks from guards or similar NPCs.

Only other way is if the enemy puts confusion on you and your warhorn converts it to retaliation (I think).

Your right just found it, it’s the new rank of guard defense line, I’ve put point in this trait. Thx that answer my question :P

I don’t know why, but since 2 day, I’ve see that i’m gaining the boon retaliation and I don’t know why, because, I’m not suppose to with my build. I’m missing something?

Today, I’ve tested solo with nobody with me on NPC… I was gaining retal on random time. For the one saying it’s the passive from the horn, I was not using the skill to convert condition to boon. I was auto attacking on npc, and I was still gaining the boon?
