I am currently having WvW lag issues with my current system and would like to know if anybody is running this same system and is having success and if so are there any tweeks i can do to improve fps.

Please dont post, buy a new system or chime in if you dont have the same or similar system. This machine by far exceeds the recommended specs for the game but comes up short in WvW some times bottoming the fps out at 5-10 fps.
Here are my current specs.

Lenovo IdeaPad Y470
Intel core i7 cpu
8 GB ram
Radeon HD 7690m 1gb Dedicated graphics card
7200 rpm HD
1366 × 768 resolution is what I run the game in.

I have disabled the core parking through the registry values so the cpu is running all cores and have the switchable graphics only runing GW2.
Any help would be appreciated.

I installed the 12.7 and no difference in performance with my radeon 7690M card. Frame rates are still low and Wv3 is a slide show. There is no reason why this game ran fine and I was getting 60+ FPS before the halloween patches and now its unplayable.

I have had a serious FPS drop in WvWvW since the halloween patch. I run fine when in the PvE zones but as soon as i zone in to WvW my fps starts to cycle from 78 to 40 to 18 while standing still and not moving. As soon as there is any type of force in the area, it becomes a slide show. I am listing my specs below due to there not being an update to my video card drivers. My machine is set to run GW2 in high performance with the switchable graphics mode. I also tried 2 different ISP’s to make sure the problem wasn’t with my cable provider and my connection is bencmarked at 25MB down and 4MB up.

Just an update since there was a small patch since I posted. I am now having the same issue in PvE as well as WvWvW.
